This is my first attempt at writing angst and character death so I apologize if it sucks. This broke my heart writing it. Dedicated to my friend and fellow author SnowyDarling who made me write this. I don't own Adam nor Tommy anyway Enjoy!
It was a Friday night and Adam was on his way to the store to pick up a few items for a romantic dinner for him and his boyfriend Tommy Joe. It was their two year anniversary and Adam wanted it to be special. A nice homemade meal with the love of his life, nothing could get better than this. Adam had a big surprise and he was basically bouncing in his seat. He finally arrives to the local grocery store and picks up the things he needs. Purchases all his things and steps outside sending a text to Tommy who didn't know it would be the last text he'd ever recieve from his love.
"Hey babe got the stuff and now I'm on my way home. Love ya!" All of a sudden from the distance Adam hears the snarl of a "Hey faggot!" Turning around Adam gets a bat smacked straight on the temple. Caught by surprised he's dazed and falls to the ground feeling the blood oozing down his face. Then a swift kick to the ribs and the airs being knocked straight from his lungs. They have a girl with them and the only thing she does is spit right in his face. Adam's vision is blurred, his ears are ringing, and his voice hoarse from the no air. You can barely hear his desperate cries for help.
They break one of his legs with the bat, pull out some of his hair, crack his ribs take his wallet, and twist his neck . Then what finally does it what finally ends him is the main guy stomping right on his face breaking his nose, knocking one of his teeth out and it's so powerful that it cracks his skull right there on the concrete of the of the parking lot. He stops struggling and breathes out his last breath. The attackers run away. The store manager comes running out with customers following her trail and she demands " SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE! HURRY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!" Finally the police come with the ambulence as Adam lies there as lifeless and cold as can be, a bouquet of roses by his side with a black velvet box in his right hand opened with a beautiful diamond ring peeking out.
For then the man known as death comes and takes Adam along with him to decide his fate.
