A Lost friend from the past
Lately … I've been having these weird dreams of a Pegasus. I don't know him, but for some odd reason, it's like I knew him forever, since I was a little filly. His voice and appearance are a blur, as if he never existed. I really want to know who this Pegasus is. He kept saying these words over and over in the end in my dream: 'I know what I did was wrong but I hope you can forgive me for what I've done someday.' Each time he says that, he sheds a single tear and my dream ends there. What did he do that was wrong…..the only thing I can remember from that dream that he has a cutie mark with double bladed twin swords behind some dark clouds. I must solve this dream, even if it means unlocking a dark past that should not be revealed…..

"….ight…wilight ….Twilight! Wake up!" Spike shouted. Twilight jumps out of her bed and crashes to the ground. "Ow…that really hurt" said Twilight. Spike rushes to towards Twilight and helps her up. "Jeez, are you having that same dream again Twilight?" asked Spike.
"Yes…this is the fifth time this happen this week…" said Twilight.
"Hmmm… maybe this time it's a sign that you're going to meet this guy" said Spike.
"Hmmm… you may be right about that Spike….I really need to know who this Pegasus that keeps appearing in my dreams is." said Twilight.
"I know, maybe Princess Celestia might know who this guy is" said Spike.
"That's a good idea Spike! Come on, we're heading to Canterlot" said Twilight. Just before Twilight and Spike were about to leave, Spike flames up a message which was from the Princess Celestia. "A letter from the princess, what does it say Spike?" asked Twilight.
"Hmmm, interesting, it's says:
Dear Twilight Sparkle, I was informed by Spike about your sleeping problems so, if you like, I can help you with this problem and maybe we can solve it together.
Princess Celestia
"Spike, you told the princess about my dream?" asked Twilight.
"I had to. I thought that maybe she can help you with that dream of yours" said Spike. Twilight smiled and walked towards and gently petted him on the head. "Thanks Spike. Alrighty, onward to meet the princess" said Twilight.
Finally I have a chance of finding out who this mystery pony is…
As Twilight and Spike go to the train station, they see Applejack and the rest of the girls at the station. "Hey girls, what are you all doing here?" asked Twilight.
"What do you mean Twilight, did you forget that we were supposed to meet up with Fluttershy from her trip?" said Applejack.
"Ah that's right, I totally forgot that!" said Twilight.
"Let me guess, it's that crazy dream you had lately isn't it?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Yes, the same one. I'm going to Canterlot to meet with Princess Celestia to talk about it" said Twilight.
"Oh! Oh! I wanna go! I want to know what to know about dream of yours!" shouted Pinkie Pie.
"I don't mind either. Fluttershy is really taking a long time to come from whatever she's coming from" said Rarity.
"Yeah, she told us that she will be here this morning and it's almost lunch time!" shouted Rainbow Dash.
"Well I reckon that Fluttershy might have a reason of being late, but we need someone to stay here to watch for her" said Applejack
While every pony is thinking of who will look out for Fluttershy, they all turn their heads towards Spike. Spike looks up and notices that every pony is staring down at him. "Ohhh No, Forget it! I'm no watch dog. I wanna know who this dream guy Twilight is dreaming about is!" said Spike.
"Please spikey-wikey, would you do it for me?" said Rarity. Spike turned crimson red and nodded yes but at the same time the rest of the girls felt bad for doing this, but it was the only way.
"Okay Spike, we'll be back soon" said Twilight. As the girls got on the train leading too Canterlot, the girls started asking Twilight what this mystery pony was like in her dream. "So Twilight, out of curiosity, what is this pony like in your dreams?" asked Rarity.
"Oh! Is it pony eating machine, Titan size monster pony, a ghost pony trying you haunt you, or sweet 50 ft tall marshmallow pon-"
"Pinkie!"
"Oops sorry, I got too carried away" said Pinkie Pie. "Jeez Pinkie Pie, your randomness is going to a whole new level" said Applejack. Twilight chuckled and smiled during entertainment. "Pinkie, it's neither the above. I can't really explain but in my dream a Pegasus keeps appearing. And for some odd weird reason, I feel like I know this guy" said Twilight.
"It's a guy!"
"Come on girls, calm down" said Twilight.
"It's a guy and he's a Pegasus, this guy wouldn't be Flash Sentry is it?" asked Rarity. "No it's not him" said Twilight.
"Hey, does this mystery pony of yours even have a name?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"That I don't know. That's why I going to see the princess about it. The only thing I remember from that dream is that this guy has a cutie mark with double bladed twin swords behind some dark clouds" said Twilight. After what Twilight said, Applejack was surprised and shocked.
"Did you say a cutie mark with double bladed twin swords behind some dark clouds Twilight?" asked Applejack.
"Yes I have…wait do you know who this guy is Applejack?" asked Twilight. "
I don't know him but I remember seeing a cutie mark like that when I was a filly. For some odd reason, just remembering that cutie mark really irritates me for some reason" said Applejack.
"How so Applejack?" asked Rarity.
"Well it's been too long but, it started when I was harvesting some apples for our apple cider til suddenly I've been finding a lot of apple cores lying around nearby" said Applejack
"Then I saw that Pegasus eating the apples on top of one of the trees-"
"For crying out loud, I told him not to do that without asking!"
Everyone turned their eyes towards Twilight and was surprised of what she said. "I-I don't know what happen but it just came out of nowhere" said Twilight
What just happen….I just unconsciously said it out of nowhere….
"Hmmm, anyways this guy was making a huge mess but to be honest I never seen a foal like that eat so much apples. Til suddenly he came up to me and said:
"These are your apple trees right, sorry about that. I was gotten really hungry while waiting for a buddy of mine at school in Canterlot."
"It doesn't matter whether or not you're waiting for your buddy, you can't eat the apples without permission" said Applejack.
"Whoa easy there missy, don't need to get wild on me. Honestly you do look cute when you get angry"
Applejack began to blush and started chasing the Pegasus. "Grrr stop messing with me and pay up!" screamed Applejack. The little Pegasus flew into the tree and hid there while Applejack was looking for him. "Jeez, now where did he go?" Applejack searched for him in the area til the Pegasus appeared in front of her and kiss applejack on the nose. "Man, girls like you are really hard to find…and fun to tease!" The little Pegasus flew off while leaving Applejack stunned and blushing bright red. She started chasing him. "Get back here and pay for all the apples you ate you jerk!" shouted Applejack. Before the little Pegasus flew off, he shouted to Applejack, "Don't worry, I'll pay you back soon when I come back….by the way, try not to get mad for every little thing, or else no stallion is to ask for your hoof in marriage"
Every pony began to laugh and was surprised of Applejack's story. "Bahaha, Man I agree with that guy! You do get mad for almost every little thing haha!" said Rainbow Dash.
"To be honest what he did around you was cute too." said Rarity.
"What do you mean cute?! All he was doing was messing with me" said Applejack.
"Well he does have a habit of teasing those he finds interesting Applejack." said Twilight. And again everyone stares at Twilight. "D-Did I say out of nowhere again?" asked Twilight.
"Twilight, are you sure you don't know this guy?" asked Pinkie Pie.
"I'm positive. It's just that whenever we talk about this guy, I just spazz out about random stuff." Twilight replied.
"Well we're almost at the castle so we'll know for sure soon." said Rarity.
As the girls reached Canterlot and stepped out of the train, the royal guards appeared and rushed towards Twilight and her friends.
"H-hey what's going on?!" shouted Rainbow Dash. One of the royal guards goes to them and explains. "We're sorry to have to do this but we are going to do a quick body scan to make sure you six are real". One of the unicorn guards came by and did a magic body scan on them. "Scanning complete, these girls are clean" said one of the Unicorn guards. "Hey what in tarnation is going on?" said Applejack. "We apologize but we there have been reports of a Changeling spy here in Canterlot" Said one of the guards. "What?! The Changelings are back?!" the girls shouted. "We're not entirely sure but if you must know, go meet with the princess and she will explain everything" said the guard. "Alright girls, lets hurry to the castle" said Twilight. Every pony agreed and ran towards the castle. As the gang got to the castle, they entered the royal chamber and met up with Princess Celestia. "Princess Twilight, what is all the commotion about?" Asked Princess Celestia. "We heard one of the guards saying that there's a Changeling spy here in Canterlot" Said Twilight. Princess Celestia let out a big sigh and explained to the girls. "Girls, this so called Changeling spy is nothing to worry about and the guards are taking it too seriously. Here read this warning letter I found" said Princess Celestia.
Surrender your kingdom to my queen and….uh…eh…uhhhh….or else I…will….uhhh….ah! I will destroy your precious castle! Yeah this is good. Man I'm smart

Twilight and her friends had awkward expressions on their faces, except for Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, who were laughing very hard on the ground.
"You can't be serious, is this warning letter for real Princess Celestia?" asked Rarity. "I'm afraid so" said Princess Celestia.
"Bahaha, wow that has to be the dumbest spy I ever heard!" said Rainbow Dash.
"No kidding, even I can come up a better letter than that … Bahaha!" shouted Pinkie Pie.
"Seriously, normally threating letters are scary but this is just ridiculous" said Twilight. "I can tell this guy isn't very bright either" said Applejack. "Yeah no kidding, and there was no need for barrier for that either". The girls turn around and notice Shining Armor and Princess Cadance had entered the room. "Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, what are you two doing here? Shouldn't you two be protecting the crystal empire?" asked Twilight. "Don't worry Twily, I put up a very special barrier to protect around the area. Even from a threat from here." said Shining Armor. "Our main reason for being here was that we got a notice about something troubling you" said Princess Cadance. "Something troubling me….oh that's right, I nearly forgot what we came here for. Princess Celestia, there's something I must ask you." said Twilight. "Oh yes it's about your dream right?" asked Princess Celestia.
"Have you ever heard of pony with a cutie mark of double bladed twin swords behind some dark clouds? Almost every night I keep getting these dreams of him and then when Applejack mentioned him, I kept saying random stuff about this guy, as if I know him for some reason" said Twilight. When Twilight said that, Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, and Princess Celestia looked surprisingly shocked of what Twilight said. "By those reactions, I'm guessing they know what you're talking about Twilight." said Rarity. Princess Celestia had sad like smile and looks at both Shining Armor and Princess Cadance and all three agree to tell Twilight and her friends who this mystery pony is. Princess Celestia activates the floor with horn to trigger a magical hologram. There she projects the mystery pony that was in Twilight's dream. "This little Pegasus you girls see here is Storm Razor a pony from a faraway land of Ikaruga." said Princess Celestia. "Hey, he's the guy that ate my apples back in my farm when I was a filly!" said Applejack.
Princess Cadance chuckled and responded to Applejack. "That playful little scamp, let me guess, he started teasing you and kissed you on the nose right" asked Princess Cadance. "Yes he did, how you know?" asked Applejack. "Well that was Storm Razor's way of showing his affection whenever he see's someone that he finds interesting. He did that mostly with Twilight when they were little." said Princess Cadance. "WHAT?!" Twilight and her friends all shouted and were really surprised of what Princess Cadance said. "Whoa calm down girls, just to be clear, nothing weird happen between him and Twily. But I will tell you this, Storm Razor was Twily's very first friend in Canterlot." said Shining Armor. "Seriously? I always thought that you, Princess Cadance, Princess Celestia and Spike were my only friends in Canterlot." said Twilight. "He was your very first and closest friend. Also you can say Storm Razor really had a tough to time trying to get to know you Twilight Sparkle" said Princess Celestia. "Hmm? What do you mean?" asked Twilight. Princess Celestia giggles and explains. "Well there were occasions when he would sneak into my castle just to get me to help him get closer to you." said Princess Celestia. All of Twilight's friends looked at her and gave her goofy smiles. "Was it love at first sight for this guy Princess Celestia?" asked Rarity. "Nope not like that, Storm Razor would come to me and say things about Twilight Sparkle, he would often say:
Jeez, no matter what I do to her, that bookworm does not stop sticking her nose into those books! I tried hiding her books, leaving random jokes in her books, adding pop ups in her books to scare her…it's like talking to a robot!.. Might as well call her Twilight Sprocket!
Twilight's friends began to laugh while Twilight was blushing bright red from embarrassment. "Gahaha that's a good one, I should start calling you those names as well!" laughed Rainbow Dash. "Poor thing, trying so hard to get Twilight's attention!" said Rarity. "Well Twily has always been absorbed in those books. Even I had a hard time trying to get her attention" said Shining Armor. "Hey it's not my fault when the book get interesting" said Twilight. Princess Celestia gently laughs and continues the story. "Well Storm Razor never gave up trying to get Twilight Sparkles attention. But eventually I took notice while teaching, Twilight Sparkle was finally taking notice of him. Wanna know how; occasionally Twilight Sparkle will stare at the window watching Storm Razor fly around near the school. When Storm Razor starts waving at her, she frantically turns around while blushing going back to her books!" said Princess Celestia. Everyone but Twilight gently laugh from the story. "Wow Twilight, took you that long to take notice of him?" asked Applejack. Twilight was so embarrassed that she didn't have the words respond. "Not just Storm Razor, Twilight also comes to me about him." said Princess Cadance. "Hmm, what did I say about him?" asked Twilight. "Well it was somewhat mean but what you said about him was:
"Cadance, can you do something about that Pegasus guy. I tried ignoring him of every way I can, heck even minor barrier bubbles won't make this guy go away!" said Twilight. "Come on Twilight, I'm sure this guy just wants to be your friend. And besides, I do think you should be friends with this Pegasus. There may be times both me and Shining Armor might busy on something so it might be right for you to have a friend your own age to keep you company Twilight." said Princess Cadance. "Come on Twilight, give him a chance. For me please?" asked Princess Cadance.
"After I said that, Twilight gave it a try to be friendlier, but at the same time she had another problem" said Princess Cadance. "Huh, what kind of problem did Twilight have?" asked Pinkie Pie. Shining Armor sighed and explained. "Well due to Twily only interested in books, she never interacted with the rest of her classmates which caused some of them to started bullying Twily" said Shining Armor. "No way, I never expected Twilight to be bullied." said Rarity. "Yeah, she didn't look like the type to be bullied." said Applejack. "Did you really get bullied back then Twilight?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Yeah, did you" asked Pinkie Pie. "Yes…. It's true. I did get bullied back then" said Twilight. "Not to sound mean but I can understand why they bullied you Twilight. Reading just books and not paying attention to them would annoy me as well." said Rainbow Dash. "But the good news is that Twilight's bullying days were short lived. Thanks to Storm Razor" said Princess Celestia.
"Whoa what did he do?" asked Pinkie Pie. "Ha, I bet he beat the snot out of them!" said Rainbow Dash. "Actually, that's exactly what Storm Razor did." said Shining Armor.
"WHAT?!"
Twilight and her friends were surprised at what Shining Armor said.
"Are you kidding me, why would Storm Razor resort to violence?" asked Twilight.
"For the record Twilight, Storm Razor actually confronted the bullies and asked them to stop but unfortunately the bullies refused and as a result, Storm Razor got into a fight with them and won." said Shining Armor. "Storm Razor may have won but he was heavily hurt so I attended to heal him in the castle. Of course the bullies that were bullying Twilight were expelled by Princess Celestia and were transferred. Of course after Twilight heard what happen to Storm Razor, she was surprisingly worried and checked on him" said Princess Cadance. "What did Twilight do when she got there?" asked Applejack. Princess Cadance smile and said,"Here's what happen:
"Storm Razor…. Why did you do this for me?" asked Twilight.
"Hey that's what friends do of course!" said Storm Razor.
"But I treated you so coldly and yet…"Just before Twilight could anything else, Storm Razor pulled out a flower and gave it to Twilight. "What is this?" asked Twilight. "It's a friendship flower called an Iris." "But why do you want to be friends with me, all I do is just read books and study. I don't even have wings like you do. So I was sure I must be boring to you." said Twilight. "Jeez bookworm, you don't need to worry about that. We don't become friends just for having wings or reading books. Doesn't matter if we're boring, causing a lot of trouble. Or cause misfortune. That's what is called being a friend. Besides, I cannot like or hate you unless I get to know you more and I really do want to get you know you. Well that's what I think." said Storm Razor. Twilight began to blush and responded to him. "Friends…when I first heard what happen to you earlier, suddenly I got really scared and thought that you've been hurt badly because of me but also, I felt happy that you did all this to protect me" said Twilight. "You did?" asked Storm Razor. "Even if I want you to be my friend, I'm boring, not that interesting, I'm always reading books, would you still be my friend and accept for who I am?" asked Twilight. "Of course, that's what I have been trying to do this whole time!" said Storm Razor. Twilight became really happy and kissed Storm Razor on the cheek but suddenly. "Oww, Easy there will ya, still somewhat sore" said Storm Razor blushing bright red" Twilight gently laughed and said. "Well that's what you get for being a reckless idiot. But promise one thing, never do something that reckless ever again okay?" asked Twilight. "Alright I'll try" said Storm Razor.
"And that was the day when Twilight officially made a real friend. But there were days these two driving themselves crazy" said Princess Cadance. "Oh, oh, what kinds of craziness happen to those two?" asked Pinkie Pie. "Well there were occasions that Storm Razor will sneak around the produce district and take some food for Twilight during whenever she is studying for a big test. And do playful pranks like kissing Twilight on the nose or making random faces to distract her when she's in class. And there were times Twilight will use Storm Razor to help her as a test subject for her upcoming magic test. The poor thing couldn't take it but Storm Razor stuck with it and did everything he could to help her pass. This may be off subject but whenever Twilight was busy with school, Storm Razor would get bored easily, so he came to me to play. Been looking after him so long it's like having a mischievous little brother around" said Princess Cadance. "Based on what you said about him, it's like you're talking about Rainbow Dash except it's a guy version. "Yeah, and if he and Rainbow Dash ever meet, I can imagine them getting along really well" said Twilight. "Oh yeah out of curiosity, has this Storm Razor have given you four any nicknames?" asked Pinkie Pie. "Oh yes he has. Due to the fact Storm Razor is from Ikaruga, he gave me the name Taiyou-nee. Taiyou means Sun and onee means older sister. Which of course he said it based on my cutie mark." said Princess Celestia.
"With me and Shining Armor, he calls me 'Onee-chan' and calls Shining Armor 'Onii-chan' and onii means older brother." Said Princess Cadance. "Is there one for Twilight?" said Applejack. "Well Storm Razor had a tough time coming up with one so he call Twilight 'Twily' like Shining Armor but most of the time calling her bookworm." said Princess Cadance. "But there's something bugging me, if Storm Razor Twilight's childhood friend, how come I've never seen him in Ponyville or around Canterlot" asked Rainbow Dash. When Rainbow Dash asked that question, Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, and Princess Celestia went quietly sad.
Princess Cadance began to tear up. "I-I'm sorry but I need some air." sadly said Princess Cadance. As Princess Cadance left the room crying, Twilight and her friends became confused. "Rainbow Dash, what on earth did you say to make Princess Cadance cry?" asked Rarity. "Nothing, all I said is what happed to Storm Razor is all." said Rainbow Dash. "Let's ask Princess Celestia about it, Princess what happen to…" just before Twilight could anything, the Princess began to leave the room tearing up. "What happened, both princesses are crying, did something bad happen to this guy?" asked Applejack. "Shining Armor, why are they both crying, did something happen to Storm Razor?" asked Twilight.
"….Storm Razor tragically passed away" said Shining Armor.
Twilight and her friends were shocked at what he said.
"Shining Armor…what happened to him…?" asked Twilight.
"…. It happened during your summer vacation. Back then I strictly told to you not set foot out of Canterlot. Storm Razor didn't like the idea of having you staying Canterlot like that. So he sneaked off with you out of Canterlot and left the area. I was mad and worried at the same time so I chased after you two. It took me searched for about a week for you and Storm Razor but there was no trace what so ever. Then, one night, on the other side of the mountain of Canterlot, fire and smoke were rising from that side and I rushed towards that direction and noticed both you and Storm Razor were being chased by a dark armored group of ponys. I manage to rescue both of you but Storm Razor left my side and went towards the dark group. He smiled sadly to us and said:
'I know what I did was wrong but I hope you can forgive me for what I've done someday.'
"I don't know what move he did but Storm Razor slammed his hoof to the ground and shouted 'Explosive Blast!' and a huge explosion of light blasted out and wiped out the whole dark armored group of ponys. Luckily for me and Twily, we were protected by my magic shield. When the smoke cleared up, not a trace of either of them was in sight. All that was left was a burnt bandana that was worn by him around his neck. The shock was too great for Twily. Tears started to flow out and Twily fainted. When I told the news to Cadance and Princess Celestia, both of them broke down into tears. Like Twily, Cadance took it really hard as well. Cadance became severely heartbroken and it took almost weeks for her to recover. But Twily had it the worst. Because of that incident, she was in a coma for a whole month. The main reason you couldn't remember him was, not only because of the incident, but also I placed a seal on you to prevent that memory to resurface" said Shining Armor. Twilight begins to tear up and stares at Shining Armor.
"S-so…all this time…i-it wasn't always you that was with me back in Canterlot….i-it was Storm Razor the whole time?" said Twilight. "Twily…I only did that to keep the bad memories-" Twilight stomped her hoof to ground hard causing everything to shake and the windows to crack "That didn't mean you had to erase his whole existence from my memories!" Rarity quickly ran in front of Twilight, using her magic to lift one of the big leaves and used it smack Twilight to come back to her senses.
"Twilight….calm down and relax" said Rarity. "Twilight… I know that losing a childhood friend from your memories is bad and I understand your anger, but your older brother only did it to help you move on and not stay in the past. It may not be my place to say it but I know for a fact that Storm Razor would have wanted you to move on and to live in the present" said Applejack. Pinkie Pie picks up a handkerchief and used it wipe Twilight's tears. "Applejack's right Twilight. Stormy did all he could to protect you and stuff" said Pinkie Pie. "Yeah, he protected you with all he had, like any tough pony would do." said Rainbow Dash. The girls all gave Twilight a group hug to cheer her up.
"They're right Twily, knowing Storm Razor, I bet he's really happy that you have great friends." said Shining Armor. "Everyone….thank you-" just before Twilight could say anything else, there was a huge explosion, causing the whole area to shake. "Hey, what's going on?" said Rainbow Dash. "That Blast…that's the direction Cadance went!" said Shining Armor. Everyone went towards the direction where Princess Cadance had run off to. As they continue running down the hallway, the group notice the balcony was destroyed and found lots of unusually broken, discolored tree branches on the ground. As they look around, they hear Princess Cadance pleading for help. The group sees a trail of the discolored tree branches leading to whatever it was that captured her.
"This isn't right, Cadance isn't the type to be over taken like this" said Twilight. "Well whatever this thing is, it must prevent her from using any magic" said Shining Armor. "A creature that prevents unicorns and Alicorns from using magic, are those things even real?" asked Pinkie Pie. "There are creatures or other worldly beings that can't be harmed by magic. But something like this weird." said Shining Armor. "What's weird about it?" asked Applejack. "Whatever creature this is, it's not native to this land." said Shining Armor. "So basically…someone brought it here." said Rarity. "You can't possibly think it was that weird intruder that brought this thing here." said Rainbow Dash. "Whether or not it's the intruder, it's our only lead." said Shining Armor. As everyone follows the trail, it leads to own open meadow. When entering the open meadow, the group sees a giant haunting tree-like monster holding Princess Cadance with long dark vines tangling her. "Oh my…it's hideous!" Shouted Rarity.
"Hey let her down you rotten old tree!" Rainbow Dash dashes towards Princess Cadance but the tree monster's root comes out of the ground and strikes Rainbow Dash, knocking her out. "Rainbow! Okay you walking toothpick, prepare to be firewood!" Applejack dashes towards the tree monster but is captured by one of the roots and stuck to the ground. "Give it up, my tree subordinate only takes orders from me!" "Who said that?" said Twilight An unknown being comes out of the shadows, revealing it to be a weird goofy changeling. "Are you the one that sent that weird warning letter?" said Twilight. "Um….ah…yes I did, pretty clever huh?" said the changeling. Everyone and the tree monster gave the changeling an awkward look. "I sent that letter make ….you….what was that word?…ah yes, scared. Just to let you know, I brought this tree monster to destroy you but apparently my queen told this rotten thing to be in charge." said the changeling. And again everyone and even the tree monster give the changeling an awkward look.
"I can imagine why." muttered Applejack. "Well it…..doesn't matter, this useless tree can't do anything without me….yeah I sound good. Now you stupid tree, destroy them!" shouted the changeling. Instead of that order, the monster grew angry and used one of its roots to strike the changeling, sending him out of the park. "I somewhat figured that was going to happen." said Shining Armor. "Yeah, I heard that you were supposed to be a gentle guardian that is well loved by everyone!" said Shining Armor. "Fools, I am the dark soul of Tret. The kind soul of Tret has been absorbing the bad nature of the area faraway from Canterlot. The fool absorbed too much and released it to a badlands. And there the dark energy merged all together and that's how I was born and became known as Dark Tret. Thanks to those pitiful changelings that found me, I was able to absorb whatever magic they had to gain strength and it was sweet of them not to notice what I'd been doing." said Dark Tret. "That explains why they invaded the castle. They weren't aware that Dark Tret was draining their life force and magic!" said Twilight. "Even though they were bad, it was wrong of you to do what you have done!" said Rarity.

Dark Tret used one of its roots to grab Rarity and started slowly draining her of her magic and life force. "No, Rarity! Let her go this instant!" shouted Twilight. "Quiet you…hey wait a minute, something about you looks familiar….let me get a closer look." When Dark Tret was about to grab Twilight, Pinkie Pie rushed in kicked his arm. "I won't let you go near her!" Shouted Pinkie Pie. "Why you!" Dark Tret used one of his roots and caged Pinkie Pie to the ground. "Hey let me go you walking tree trunk!" shouted Pinkie Pie. Dark Tret continues to grab Twilight but Shining Armor jumps in and starts blasting him, but his blasts are absorbed. "Fool! Your magic attacks are only making me stronger!" said Dark Tret. Dark Tret uses one of his roots and grabs Shining Armor, slowly draining him of his magic and life force. "No! Let him go you walking bug farm!" screamed Twilight. After Dark Tret what heard Twilight said, he became furious and suddenly remembered her. "I remember now, you were with the flying like creature that was trying to steal my treasure back than!" shouted Dark Tret

Just then, Dark Tret finally managed to grab Twilight and started squeezing her. "Tell me where my treasure is this instant!" said Dark Tret. "I-I don't…know what you are t-talking about!" said Twilight. "Don't lie to me girl. Tell me now or everyone here will be drained of their life!" said Dark Tret.

Just then, an unknown Pegasus swoops down at high speed, zipping around, and cutting down all of Dark Tret's roots, which releases everyone, and catches Twilight. The unknown Pegasus slowly goes down and lays Twilight on the ground. "Who the heck do you think you are, trying to drain my buddy like that?" Twilight opens her eyes and sees a Pegasus wearing a dark brown cloak right in front of her. A gust of wind came by and blew his hood off, revealing his face.
I-it can't be….is it really him….the guy from my dreams…..
