Lovino pushes open the doors to his school, exiting the building. The cold air brushes past and he breathes it in, sending a wave of coolness through his body. He lets out a quick shiver then starts to walk down the road to his home. It wasn't really his home, it was his boyfriend's home. Ever since his parents found out that he was gay, they had kicked him out of the house. He is still upset for his parents for doing that and separating him from his brother, but life is life and he can't change who he is.

He was halfway there when something happened. Another student, Alfred Jones, came up to him, shoving him hard. Lovino lands on his butt. He grunts and tears form at the corner of his eyes. He was already in pain and didn't need any more. Lovino doesn't bother standing up. He glares at Alfred. Alfred towers over him, looking down with hatred. "Hey fag. Going home to your boyfriend?" Al teases.

Lovino looks away and doesn't yet try to stand up. "Leave me alone, bastard." He grunts. "Why would I? You're fun to screw with. You don't fight back." Al says. "I don't understand why anyone would want a whore like you anyway. You're useless, even your parents said so."

Lovino stands up, stumbling slightly. "Just leave me alone!" He begins to run, tears streaming down his cheeks. He couldn't deal with Alfred's shit today. He didn't want to. Lovi heads in the direction of his boyfriend's home. "Yeah you better run you fucking faggot!" He hears Alfred shout from far away.

After a few minutes Lovino slows his pace to a walk. He turns around, not recognizing where he was for a moment, until he realized that he took the long way home. Lovino starts to panic. He couldn't be late getting home. His boyfriend wouldn't like that. Lovi bites his lip and starts to rush home. He was taking every shortcut he could possibly take. Even then he wouldn't get home at the time his boyfriend wanted him home.

Lovino walks inside of the house, trying to come in as quietly as possible. That didn't work out when he found himself falling to the floor and his cheek stinging badly. A man with light blond hair and a beige pink scarf was glaring down at him. "Where have you been? You should have gotten home a half hour ago." He snaps. Lovino starts to shake and he tries to scoot away from him. "Ivan I'm sorry! Alfred wouldn't leave me alone so I ran away but I went the wrong way. I had to take a longer route so he wouldn't see me and bother me again." He spits out as quickly as possible.

Safe to say that Lovino was not the same person when Ivan, his russian boyfriend, was around. "Very well." Ivan mumbles. He glares at him one more time and Lovino is brought into a new wave of tears. He is very afraid of Ivan, but won't break up with him. He would have no where to go and Ivan insists that he loves him.

"Get up." Ivan commands, he almost wanted to press his boot into Lovino's side and give him more of a reason to cry. Lovi nods and quickly stands up; he was still shaking and convulsing. The Italian wanted something different than this. He wanted a loving relationship, but if this was the best he was getting, then so be it.

He's been with Ivan for a while actually. Since he was fifteen and Ivan was still in school. They actually met at school. Ivan was a senior, and Lovino a freshman. They actually met in after school detention. Ivan was in there for participating in a fight on school grounds, and Lovi was in there for saying "fuck" and "bastard" too many times during class. The two hit it off and just couldn't stop talking at all. The teacher had left because she didn't care what they did and because it was only those two.

Ivan had gone over to Lovino's house a few times, Lovino had gone over to Ivan's house a few times and one day they just kissed. It was Ivan who initiated it. And ever since then they had a relationship. Since it was Ivan's senior year, he was looking for jobs and decided to purchase real estate instead so he would have money coming in every month. He did that, saved up a lot, and then moved into his own house when he got out of school.

Lovino visited the house a lot, almost more than his own home. He liked it better. He could be with Ivan almost all the time. Although there was one night, the night where Lovino lost his virginity to Ivan, where Lovino and Ivan were going back to Lovino's home. It was really late at night. Almost late enough to where it was the early hours of the morning.

Lovino stumbled in the door, slightly high from the feelings of being in love and having the best night ever. Ivan came in right behind him and they hugged each other. Lovi kissed Ivan on the lips and said to him "Ti amo, Vanya. I love you so much." Ivan blushed when he said this, even if he's said it before. Ivan returned the favor by saying he loved him in Russian. The two lovers held each other then parted after what seemed like only a few seconds, but what was actually several minutes.

Lovino couldn't control his emotions of happiness and joy on that night. He literally skipped up to bed. Although all of that was lost when he was confronted by both of his parents about what happened last night. They had waited up for Lovino and they heard what was going on during those early hours of the morning. His parents told him to leave and not to come back after they found out. They didn't want to live with a gay son. Feliciano, his brother, was begging him not to leave. He was crying so hard and grabbing onto him. Feliciano was in seventh grade during this, and Lovino was a sophomore.

Lovino didn't want to leave his brother behind, but he had to. He quickly told him an address to go to if he ever needed to see him. Feliciano locked the information away in his mind for later use. Lovi was crying and in tears on his walk to Ivan's house. The only things he had with him was a back pack and a bag on wheels. He filled them with clothes and other things he needed, like electronics, photographs, and other essentials.

Ivan welcomed him when he heard of what happened. He held him telling the Italian that everything would be alright and to not worry at all.

Ivan progressively became worse. He wasn't so kind and loving as he seemed to be. He started to hit Lovino. At first it was a simple wrist grab, then shoving him, then he hit him. It all went downhill from there.

"I-Ivan" Lovino chokes out. "please… stop… It's all I'm asking." He whimpers. He wanted Ivan to stop hitting him. To stop saying unnecessary things to him. He wanted to be happy like he was those few years ago. Ivan doesn't say anything besides "Stop shaking. I don't want to hear another word from you." He growls then goes back to what he was doing. Lovino doesn't bother responding. He just drags himself to their shared room and sets his things down. He starts to cry and regret everything that's happened in the past few years.

Later that night, Lovino was in bed, curled up in a ball. He was tired but couldn't seem to sleep. He wanted to be asleep before Ivan came upstairs. Well that didn't happen because Ivan came into their shared room and quietly undressed and got under the blankets. He leans over Lovino and kisses him on the forehead softly before whispering "I love you so much. I'm so sorry." When Lovi was awake to hear this, it sounded like Ivan meant it. This made Lovino's feelings clash even more. He didn't know whether to hug Ivan or to crawl away in disgust.

The next morning, Lovino had gotten up and gotten to school without any problems. Although, he was feeling really horrible. He was extremely upset, and everyone could tell, except no one cared enough to ask him what was wrong. Not even his brother. Him and Feli went to the same school together, Lovi was a senior, and Feli was a freshman.

It was sixth period and they were getting ready to leave. The regular teacher wasn't there, but they had their student teacher like always. He's been the student teacher for a few weeks now and the teens really liked him. Part of that reason was because he was an albino. Mr. Beilschmidt, aka Gilbert, comes up to Lovino's desk right before the bell rings. "I want to talk to you after class." He said. Most of the kids didn't hear or weren't paying attention because for the most part they weren't doing anything except mindless chatter. They did that for most of the period except Lovino who was sulking. Lovino's skin turned a shade whiter after hearing those words.
