Scorpius. The name—his name- plagued her every day….. had plagued her every day since that very fateful day that they had broken up.
She remembered being a teenager, falling in the love for the first time. Feeling madly in love, feeling like life made no sense, but made perfect sense at the same time. To this day she hadn't ever discovered a more surreal and delightful feeling (but the fact she hadn't ever fallen in love again probably was a huge factor to that)
It had nearly killed her to stand there and break his heart—breaking her own heart in the process. She had seen the hurt in his eyes that day, seen the utter confusion.
She hadn't had a choice. She was a Weasley , family meant everything to her. She couldn't be as selfish as to sacrifice the love and comfort they had provided for her every day since her birth for her own happiness. Maybe Hermione's brains hadn't been the only thing she had inherited from her.
She knew he had moved on with that Parkinson brat, had had a son –Orion Malfoy to be exact…Hell she had married as well, she was now Rose Scamander, they had a kid too—Bella Scamander. But she never had been able to properly move on.
Bella was in 3rd year, and guess who's her her best friend. Orion Malfoy.
She had seen the glances they threw each other every other second. She was sure he'd noticed too.
She'd see to it that her daughter would be able to marry the guy she loved regardless of his last name. She would see to it that history wouldn't be able to repeat itself with her daughter and his son.
