Jane stood on a street corner watching cars go by in her coat and a simple light brown dress holding a brief case. She had been waiting on Thor for two years. A tall man with blonde hair walked by and asked her if she was waiting on someone Jane said "yah… he still coming he's just running a little late" Jane watched the clouds roll by as they spelled her name, she smiled brightly "I've been talking to angels, counting the stars." Jane shrugged "I guess two years means he isn't coming back?" she asked "There might be a chance he will" said the blonde man. All Jane wanted was Thor to come right now right here standing with her.
A city bus rushed in front her and when it was gone she saw Thor standing at the opposite corner. Jane gasped and when the cross walk sign said walk, she ran it seemed like hours before she finally reached the other side. In reality it was probably 30 seconds. Thor dropped his hammer and held Jane tighter than he ever had. "Where were you?" Jane asked finally pulling herself out of his embrace. "I was right here the whole time… I was waiting, then I was crying, and then I went out looking for you. And then I was crying… you said you were coming back!" Jane said. Thor's shoulders sank "I know, I know but the Bifrost was destroyed. The nine realms erupted into chaos, wars were raging. I had to put an end to it" Thor said in his deep tone. "As excuses go…It's not terrible. But I saw you on TV you were in New York!" Jane exclaimed "I was a fool, I know but I am here now" Thor explained "at least you know" Jane said. Once again she ended up hugging Thor
She was his lighting. And he her thunder.
