Well-p, I'm bored, so I'm going to write some Homestuck. HER—E we go.
The muscular, Sagittarius troll known as Equius lay somewhat peacefully in his bed. He was wearing his usual sleeveless shirt, sweaty as he lay atop his covers, which were ripped in half. His bed made a creaking sound as it slowly sunk a little, the legs shattering almost instantly as Equius was startled awake, aggravated and on the floor.
He tiredly trudged his way to the kitchen (smashing down every door he tried to open normally) and approached the refrigerator for his morning milk. He reached for the handle and his tight grip caused him to rip the fridge door off. Still looking aggravated, he tossed the door aside. Within the fridge lay several glasses of fresh milk. He reached for the first one and pulled it out, immediately crushing it in his strong hand. He gritted his teeth, sweating even more. He reached for the next glass, lightly taking it with both hands, but it ended up breaking as well. He started to sweat even more. He slowly and carefully reached for the next glass, taking it lightly in his fingers as he slowly brought it to his face. As he carefully reached his tongue into the glass, it dropped and broke on the floor.
Equius sighed in defeat. He was losing hope of ever getting his milk. "Ahem." Equius looked up and saw Feferi standing in the doorway. The female fish-troll smiled as she held up a glass of milk for Equius. The horse-troll looked confused, but approached nonetheless. He allowed Feferi to touch the glass to his lips, and she gently tipped it forward as the milk flowed into his mouth.
"…Thank you."
Feferi grinned. "Glub-glub!" 38)
So yeah, this fic might seem familiar to you. If the 2 people who read it recall, I wrote this months ago, and it sucked balls. The thing is, I had TWO versions of this story, one with dialogue, and one without, and the one WITHOUT dialogue is much better. (Save for the very few words at the end.) Lol it just goes to show, smaller is always better sometimes. Lol the same thing went for a one-shot I read recently, which had a shorter version. Besides, I don't know Equius very well to write his character, either. Anyhoo, next time, I will write more MASKED. L8r.
