Introduction:
The year is 1996. And Voldemort's latest spell has gone horribly horribly wrong. In a misguided attempt to convince Nagini to admit her growing feelings for him, he has unleashed the demon called Careeohkey on the unsuspecting wizarding world. Careeokey has one hex, which he uses to the fullest of his ability - to make people admit their hidden feelings ...MUSICALLY. It was thought that Albus Dumbledore *ahem* pulled the plug on him many centuries ago, but well.. appearances are a bit misleading. He was really moonlighting as a bartender in New York City, adventures which I will not recount here to save you the mind-blowing horror.

Our first glimpse of what lies ahead appears in Malfoy Manor, where the demon was first summoned.

A tall stately woman stands in an elegant living room, staring out the window as her husband launches into another tirade about how their son is a failure because of her. Because she made him too weak. 'No Lucius.' She returns bitterly. 'Our son became a failure the moment you promised him to your beloved Dark Lord.'

Though she doesn't know it, the demon's hex is already on her and the soft words she is uttering now are no longer curses against her husband. They are.. lyrics.

"Falling in Love with Love is falling for make-believe.." She whispers, completely unaware of her husband's hawkeyes turning on her. They had previously been focused on a mirror.

"Falling in Love with Love is playing the fool..." 16 years ago, a younger, softer Narcissa cradles her newbown son in her arms, whispering endearments to the blonde child, who giggles in her arms. This Narcissa's hand tightens on the window sill as her memories cruelly show her Lucius's cold apathy upon seeing his son, and the way he carelessly takes Draco away from her, handing the child with barely concealed disgust to a nearby cloaked Death Eater "He'll do."

"Caring too much is such a juvenile fancy.. Learning to trust is just for children in school." Her voice strengthens with each verse forced from her throat, terrible in their pain. Her child never learned to trust. His bastard of a father had made sure of that.

"I fell in Love with Love one night when the moon was full" Their wedding, 20 years ago. Her own eyes brimming with happy tears as she repeated the vows after the minister, staring at the stunningly handsome Lucius Malfoy, miraculously standing across from her in the chapel, respledent in his white tux.

"I was unwise with eyes unable to see.." That night, when Lucius had suddenly grasped his arm, gray eyes unable to adjust quickly enough to hide the unexpected pain. And the sudden clenching fear in her heart when he rolled the impeccable white sleeve up to reveal a burn on his forearm. The Dark Mark.

"I fell in Love with Love with love ever-lasting..." Bitterness tore through her tone as her eyes now focused the Lucius of today. His sharp features contorted with anger, watching her and Narcissa picked up the nearest vase, viciously hoping it was priceless.

"But love fell out with me." She finished hatefully, clearly enunciating the words. The last sound that echoed through the room was the shattering of the vase as it connected with the wall.
