The Doctor braced himself for the day that he knew had been coming, the day that he knew would be one of his hardest, the day that- He froze in the middle of the angst scene, as he set the coordinates to where River currently was. He needed to give her his screwdriver! The one that he had dropped in the middle of town the day he had met Amy...
The Doctor groaned, he hated having to fill plot holes. Quickly he typed in different coordinates, being careful to make them a few minutes after he had left after solving the Prisoner Zero problem. Unfortunately, the TARDIS had other ideas, landing him a few houses down from Amy's two hours early.
"Great," he mumbled.
After watching the first episode of season five- I mean his first adventure as his Eleventh incarnation, he had come to one conclusion: he did not like the way he looked in Ten's clothes. The Doctor glared at the author, muttering something about how, even though this was just a silly fanfiction, he did not want to sound like an idiot. Then faceplamed and shouted that this was not the time to break the fourth wall.
"Oh," muttered the author as she continued to type. "Sorry..."
When his past-self, Amy, and Rory left, he quickly darted to where he had left his sonic. Racing back to the TARDIS the moment he had picked it up. Now all he had to do was fix it, get it to River, fire the author of this story, and have sad moment that would make the more sentimental fan cry.
Yep. The Doctor hated fixing plot holes, it was days like today that made him want to sit on a cloud, and do nothing (spare annoying certain cloud-hater fans).
This is why every time I try to write humor someone dies! Anyway, this is a cardfic, meaning that Scarlet Phlame, Corliss Kat, llamapop, and I were playing cards and betting on oneshots instead of money. Thanks for reading! Please review (even if it's just to tell me how corny this is)!
