He's drunk again it's time to fight
she must have done something wrong tonight the living room becomes a boxing ring
it's time to run when you see him clenching his hands

He keeps begging her to just leave him but everytime it's always the same response she loves him and he promised it won't happen again. He hates his father for what he does but he is never like this sober. As he watches the scene in front of him for what feels like the millionth time he prays for things to change.
I hear her scream, from down the hall amazing she can even talk at all
She cries to me, go back to bed
I'm terrified that she'll wind up dead in his hands

He hears her screams and cries and his "father" saying all those awful words and all he wants is for it all to go away. He feels someone's hands touch his shoulders and looks at his older brothers they tell him to come with them he asks why and they say they don't know.
