Dear Santa,
Annabeth wiped a tear off her cheek.
I know it's really early, but all I want-
"No that's not right." She erased the line.
All I need for Christmas is Percy. I miss him so much. You have no idea, well maybe you do. I've never cried so much.
Annabeth finally broke down. She curled crying on to her bunk. Her brothers and sisters knew to just leave her.
Eventually, she stopped sobbing and pulled herself together. She tried to keep writing, but it was hard with tears streaming down her cheeks. She wrote and erased and wrote some more.
Annabeth finished and looked over her writing.
Dear Santa,
I know it' really early, but all I need for Christmas is Percy. I miss him so much. You have no idea, well maybe you do. I've never cried so much. I really really love him and can barely live without him. I never knew how much I depended on him, his goofy smile and his jokes. His messy hair and perfect kisses. And I hate it. But truth be told: he's my other half. He was the only other swordsman that was equal to me. I can't find another partner that I can go all out on. Sometimes, when I just can't take it anymore, I go too hard and totally take them down. I almost killed Butch the other day and now Chiron won't let me practice with anyone but him, and he's always busy so I basically never get to practice. Please please please do what you can, maybe get in touch with Hera. I just know she has something to do with this. Maybe I should contact Zeus. . .
Yours,
Annabeth
She folded the tear stained paper and slid it into an envelope. She labeled it and walked to the Hermes cabin. The boy who answered the door was surprised. It was Chris Rodriguez, Clarisse's boyfriend.
"Annabeth, what a surprise." He said.
"Hi Chris, can you get this to Hermes?" She handed him the letter.
"Ya sure," He looked at the address. "Annabeth, you know-"
"Can you just do it please?" She ran a hand through her blonde curls. "I can't handle this right now." He nodded and retreated back inside. Annabeth slowly trudged back to her cabin. She sat back at her desk and pulled out a clean new sheet of paper.
Dear Zeus,
She started.
