Hey everyone! I'm kind of new to writing fanfictions, so I'm sorry if this isn't that good. So if the summary didn't explain enough, basically this story is about how Austin goes on a one year tour, and has to leave all his friends behind. But he comes back three years later (he was gone so long because of recording albums and going on more tours). So Austin is trying to mend his friendships with Trish and Dez. But Ally is another story; he is trying to win her heart , but he finds out she has a boyfriend, so what is he going to do about that? Find out in Want You Back!
Prologue: Ally's POV
"Your leaving?" I asked my best friend and partner of 2 years. "Ally, I know it's hard to think about, but think about the bright side our dream is finally coming true!" Austin exclaimed excitedly. "But I don't get to share the feeling with you. Remember Jimmy said if you do go on tour you couldn't bring a anyone with you. How does that make you feel Austin? How does it feel that you can't take your best friends with you? Honestly, it makes me feel like crap; knowing that I can't be there with you hurts," I said my voice cracking.
"Ally, it makes me feel like crap too, but I can't turn down this offer! I mean, a one year tour!? That's rare, coming from Jimmy. I have to take this Ally. I'll miss all of you, and I wish you guys could be there with me, but...- But what Austin? So your okay with the fact that we're not going on tour with you? Wow, doesn't that make me feel great," I said. "You know what Ally? I'm sorry, but I have to take this offer no matter what, so stop arguing with me."
"So your picking a one year tour over your friends? That's low Austin and you know it." I said as tears started falling down my cheeks. "You know what. Just go. Enjoy your dream without us, without me," I sniffled. "Ally," he groaned. "I didn't mean...-" "Save it Austin I'm done, it's not worth fighting for you to stay," I said quietly.
"Oh so know you don't care, that I leave. That's great Ally, shows how supportive you are of me," he said. "Shut up Austin! I do care that you leave! And you want to know why? It's because I freaking love you. Not in a best friend kind of way though. I love you Austin, and it hurts to hear that your leaving me," I yelled at him.
He just stood there with his mouth hanging open. He was obviously lost for words. He didn't expect me to say that I loved him, and not just on a friendly kind of way. Finally, it looked like he regained his thoughts, when I interrupted what he was about to say. "Save it Austin. I know you don't feel the same way; I can see it in your eyes, but you don't want me to be hurt. It's fine, I know saying that 'I love you' was risky because I knew you wouldn't feel the same way. You can leave now, bye Austin," I said with tears now running down my face.
He didn't need to be told twice. Without another he walked out of the practice room, shutting the door behind him. With out I slid down the wall that was behind me and started sobbing.
