Castiel stared out at the beautiful sun rising over the lake, warming his invisible wings and causing a feeling of tranquillity to rush through him. Dean's dreams really could be a thing of beauty. "I love you," Castiel said softly, not intending for Dean to hear him.
"What?" Dean asked, the louder voice sharply jerking Castiel back to reality and causing him to sigh internally.
"Nothing," Castiel told the lake in front of him. Looking up at the sun once again, Castiel saw it was almost time for him to leave. "Good morning, Dean."
"That time already, huh?" Dean asked somewhat sadly, eyes never leaving the golden sun. "You'll come back tomorrow, right?"
"Of course." Anything you wish, Dean.
