The unfinished tale of the seeker
Chapter one:
It had been 5 years since cara had lost her beloved loe. He was the first person she had acttually loved since she was taken away by the mordsith as a young girl. Her hole life she was forced not to feel anything but hate and anger. This was all changed after the mother confeser tought her to feel real emotions. That was when she first fell in love.
Cara was sitting looking up at the clear night sky longing for someone that she would never see again. "what are you doing cara he's gone stop sulking over something that can never be" she thought to herself. But deep down she knew some day some how she will see him, even If its in the underworld, she will find him again.
Kaylyn sat down beside her. It was silent for a few minutes until kaylyn finialy said "you should come inside its freezing out here, we have a warm meal ready and its getting cold." "i dont feel like eating, but thank you." cara looked away from her friend, and slowly walked to face the forest in front of her. She wanted to hide the tires that were boiling up in her eyes. She couldn't let kaylyn see her like this, she would thing she has grown weak.
"What are you thinking about" katlyn asked in the sweetest voice she could. But cara had know reaspons, she did not want to lie to kaylyn even though she didnt have the power to see if she was truly lying she didnt want to risk her knowing what she was feeling. Instead cara used all her strangth to hold back her trembleing voice and said "i was just thinking about something, but its not important." kaylyn was not satified with this answer, she walked over to where cara was standing and looked into her eyes, and at this moment cara knew that kaylyn was truly her best friend. She knew she could trust her, so she told her what she was thinging about. "i was just thinking of the life I could have had. You and richard are so happy now that everythings over. Im scared that now that theres peace I will have nothing but myself. You, richard, and Z all have familys to see and to take care of I have no one." kaylyn put her arm around cara and held her. It was a hug that cara hadn't felt since she was a young girl, it was a hug just like the ones her mother used to give her. "cara you are never alone we are your family, you know that," kaylyn wisperd in her ear, cara was silent. Then she realized exactly what cara wanted. "is this about leo" she asked in a quiet voice, scared of what cara's reaction would be. But cara just answered with a simple"Yes". "He was a very brave seeker, and he didnt die for nothing." kaylyn said in a strong voice. "i know he was, I just wish I had the chance to tell him how I felt about him. You told me to tell people I care about how I felt about them before its to late. I should have listened to you!". There was a pause, then kaylyn sprong out of caras arms. "wait I think I know I way to bring him back."
