Prologue:
It's graduation time at Brewster High and many things are going on:
1. At the graduation ceremony after-party, after Gravity 5 and the Perfs had performed, a music producer called Vance Gold, approached Kacey, Zander, Stevie, Kevin, Nelson, Molly, Grace and the rest of the Perfs for a record deal in LA after watching them.
2. Kevin will finally pluck up the courage to ask Kacey out, or will someone or something stand in his way?
3. Gravity 5 and the Perfs go head to head in a televised event called 'Battle of the Rising Bands'; the winner will be the ones receiving Vance Gold's record deal, and the loser will have to give up on their music career for good.
Who will win: Gravity 5 or the Perfs?
