Sweet Like Chocolate, Bitter Like Love

When TenTen was little her mother always used to give her a bittersweet chocolate bar everyday before school at the academy. At first she often complained about how bitter the chocolate tasted and often threw it out or gave it away at the academy, however as time went by she begrudgingly grew an acquired taste for the once offending chocolate.
When TenTen graduated and she no longer received the once hated chocolate she asked her mother why she had always given her bittersweet and not milk or dark chocolate. Her mother replied that people who live there life like it was milk chocolate are often disillusioned that life is a great place and that everybody has some good nature in them, the only fate that they can have is of dying young by trusting too many. However people who live there life like it was dark chocolate are pessimistic and often introverted, and the only fate that life holds for them is to also die young by not trusting anyone and never having real friends to protect them, but if one has a balance and is not too trusting and not too pessimistic then they will live.
So as TenTen stood facing the great ceremony that signified her secret loves death and wept, she briefly wondered what kind of chocolate Neji's mother gave him.
Hey everyone this is so unlike me to add three one-shots in a row the urge to write just hit me and who am I to not indulge myself :P Also I am Beta-ing a story for Senzairu so when that comes out make sure you check it out it's gonna be amzing :) I was on the bus listening to "Sen No Yoru Koete" by Aqua Timez and "Hide And Seek" by Imogen Heap. I know that the ending is sad but life isn't all flowers and laughs it's a distinct balence in between pessimism and optimism. So Please
