Fleur's birthday. She forgets, Bill doesn't. He keeps it simple because he knows that's how Fleur likes it.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any characters, just the fluffy and very simple storyline.

The sunshine rolled in through the open window of the seaside cottage; a beautiful witch rolled over in the king sized bed to find her husband missing.

Fleur sat bolt upright and did a quick sweep of the bedroom with her sharp, crystalline blue eyes. He was not here. She called out, "William! Are you 'ere?"
When there was no answer, Fleur jumped from the bed and ran downstairs to find the handsome, ginger-haired man cooking her breakfast. She smiled at the sight of her husband and the simplicity of what he had prepared already; he had placed a simple blue and white tablecloth on the small table in the middle of the kitchen with a simple daisy in a glass of water in the middle.

"William?" Fleur asked as she slowly walked across the kitchen to kiss her husband tenderly. "You are cooking?"

Bill nodded. Smiling, he said, "Happy birthday, princess."

Fleur laughed. "I can't believe I forgot mon anniversaire!" Bill hugged his wife, wrapping his muscular arms around her petite figure and told her to sit down, which she happily obliged.

He had cooked eggs benedict with salmon and chocolate milk to drink. As Bill sat down opposite his wife, he placed a small package, wrapped in simple brown paper in front of her. She reached out an squeezed his hand and thanked him before unwrapping a simple, silver necklace with a small wolf charm and a flat heart charm with the initials "W.A.W." inscribed on the back.

"No matter where you go, now you will always have me with you." Bill smiled nervously at his wife.

Fleur smiled widely, "Eet eez perfect William, I love eet. Will you please put eet on fur me?"

Bill obliged, glad that his wife liked his gift. "I thought, in these times, during the war I mean… It might be good to keep a part of me with you. I love you, Fleur and could not imagine being without you."

"William. I love you too. Fur better or fur worse."
