Kikyo's dilemma

Alive

When I shouldn't be,

Part of a soul

Who now belongs

To some else,

Surviving on souls

Departing this world,

Only a shell

Made of clay and bones,

Never knowing love again,

Only hatred

And emptiness,

I can not cry tears

Like you

Neither do I want to,

For I already

Been to a place

Where tears mean nothing

And stands

For only pain,

I seek to rest

In peace,

Even if it causes some else

To suffer

To gain it,

I'm nothing but a shell

Who once was a woman

Filled with hope

And love,

But was destroy

By the betrayal of this love,

I do not need your pity,

I simply wish

To rest in peace

At all cost.

Author's note: I hope you like this poem, even the kikyo haters. It takes a long time to create and write up a poem. So, review and tell your reactions and the problems about the poem.
