I used to think the world was bright

I used to think people cared

I used to think I would be protected day and night.

I used to be so wrong.

I wanted to believe you'd be there for me,

I wanted to believe you'd see

I wanted to believe, but I know it's not true

I wanted to believe in me and you.

I remember a time where life was fun

I remember a time where time would run

I remember a time where I was with you

That was the time where I was happy too.

I knew a time where love was fun

I knew a time my worst fear was to run

I knew a time when I would fly,

I'd fly so high.

Then I stopped and saw this time.

This time where I am alone

This time where I have no time

This time where I have no one

This is the time since you have run.

I know now this world is not bright

I know now people don't care

I know now you'll never be there

I live this time

This time alone

I know now, I wasn't right

I was wrong

I still am.
