Mason's Point of View
Juliette had her bat wings extended. She looked about ready to kill me. I'll admit, I was a bit scared. She wouldn't bite me, would she? She was about to attack when Justin, daft fellow, hit me with a spell. "Leave my girlfriend alone!" he yelled, quite obviously scared but infuriated. My werewolf instinct told me to go after him, to kill him. My love for his sister told me to leave him and find that necklace. Unfortunately, my instinct was strong, as I was full wolf. I lunged. Just then, I heard Alex yell, "Mason, stop! I found the necklace!" But it was too late to stop. Justin and I were in full fledged battle. I pinned him down and was about to go in for the kill when I heard the words I had hoped I never would: "If you don't get off my boyfriend, I'll bite you!" Juliette sounded like she meant it. Well, THAT got my attention. If a vampire bites a werewolf, the werewolf will become a wolf forever. NOT a risk I was willing to take. I got off Justin and took my tame werewolf form. "Thank you." said Juliette, Alex, and Justin, who was panting a bit, together. "Mason! Necklace!" Alex yelled. "Oh, right. I can climb up there and get it." When I had come back down, I told Alex, "This is my last chance to prove that I love you as much as I say I do." Then Juliette took the necklace and placed around my neck. No glow. "Okay, that means you don't love Juliette. That doesn't me you love ME." Alex said. "Uh, guys? Just to make sure, can we have Mason put it on Juliette? Just to make sure," Justin asked timidly. I put it on Juliette, just to please him. Nothing happened. So I took it off Juliette and placed it on Alex. I have never seen a brighter glow on anything! That was comforting. At least I knew she still loved me, even though I had accidentally hurt her. Finally, Alex took it off and placed it around my neck. "Wow," she said as the necklace started to glow brightly, "You really do love me." "Yes, I do. With all of my heart." As I said this, I could tell she knew I meant it. Before either of us knew what was happening, I swept her up into a long and passionate kiss.
