Sam waited, hand on the fire alarm.
Dad was just floors away. Meg had no reason to lie, her death imminent, finally free from her year of possessed hell. But was he still alive?
Dean insisted everything stopped till they got him back. But being so close to killing the demon that had ruined their lives, how could they stop now? It was almost over.
But Dean was right – they had to get him back. At least the Colt was safely locked away. They'd rescue Dad then go after the demon. They'd finally have peace. Revenge.
Sam pulled the alarm.
