Random chats with myself inspire me...It's not as weird as it sounds, Trust me.

Just a Tiny 'Why Is Life' moment between the Doctor and Rose.

I frown.

"Why are we born?" I ask no one and everyone in the room, Even god, if there is even such a thing.

"To Die, Of course!" The Doctor replied cheerfully to my comment from across the room.

I pause my work to turn and stare at his back in shock. "W-what?" I stutter out.

"Well, It isn't a hard question." He turned my way and looked up over the pile of wires He was working on to shake his head sadly at me.

"It's kind of obvious..." A spark came from some kind of wire he was holding, lighting up the small, dim room for a moment. He brushed his hand through that unruly brown hair as he focused once again at the task at hand, Cursing softly.

Rose looked at him in confusion, waiting for him to continue. When he does, he doesn't look away from his busy hands.

"We all live and die, It's something we have in common. Every creature in the universe." He murmurs. "Everyone dies at some point, Rose. We are all born for the same fate at the end...To die."

I blink swiftly multiple times, Bringing my sight back from where it wandered around the room, empty safe for a clock counting down and the mess of wires the Doctor was tinkering with.

"Wow," I say aloud, My voice echoing off the brick walls surrounding us. "That's kind of morbid, dude."

I smirk as the Doctor turns around, Our eyes meet and at the exact same moment we both shake with laughter.

"Yeah," He replies, still trying to control his chuckles. "Yeah, I guess it is."

The next moment the world around us explodes into light.
