Blue was always important to Elektra.

Not even the social worker knew why. But Elektra knew. They'd all think she was crazy if she told them the real reason. But she knew he was real. He hadn't been a dream. It had all been completely real.

He had just appeared one day…in that amazing box of his…and he had promised Elektra that he would take her away from all the madness of living in a care home. Elektra went with him, and they had so many adventures together. But then…he lost his two friends. He told her he didn't want to lose her too, and he left her back at the care home.

But Elektra was so faithful, she waited. And yet…was he going to come back? She couldn't be sure, but she believed in him and his amazing box so very, very much.

Elektra was jolted out of these thoughts as she heard a familiar whooshing noise. She jumped up from the step to see a blue box materialize in front of her. A smile appeared on Elektra's face. She made sure she had her phone and her jacket, then she walked out.

She heard footsteps running after her. Elektra turned back as she heard gasps. She rested her hand on the TARDIS door.

"I'll send a postcard!" she called, and she waved to them all before entering the box.

He turned around and grinned, bowtie and all.

Elektra grinned back, and she only had to say the words. "What took you so long? Let's go on an adventure, spaceman." She said, and off they went.

I would usually say they lived happily ever after, but…I, Elektra Perkins, and he, the Doctor, are not quite at that part yet. We shall see.
