A/N- Hey guys I'm a bit stuck for ideas on Sickness is Unacceptable so bear with me. But in my Creative Writing class we do journal assignments. I took that opportunity to write some short little stories. Any of the little stories I write there will be posted in this story. Hope you enjoy!

Makeup
"But it doesn't make sense!" Kendall groaned to me.
"I know," I soothed. "But it doesn't matter. It makes sense to them."
"That's it," I was thinking through this exchange. "I can never talk about makeup with a guy again."
Kendall stared at my face. "Hang on a second… you're wearing makeup too!"
"Not a lot!" I said defensively.
"But, that means you're being just as fake as everyone else!"
"No way! I put on makeup to… accentuate my natural beauty. Not cover it up!"
"Why couldn't I tell before?" Kendall mused to himself.
"Because I'm only wearing mascara and a drop of eyeliner. It still looks natural."
"But… But… you're pretty without the makeup!"
I blushed. "That's sweet, but vanity is a punishment that has plagues women for generations. Unfortunately, I am no exception."
Kendall groaned. "I give up!"
I smiled. Guys would never understand the intricacies of the female mind. Or vanity.
I really need some female friends.
