A/N This is my first atempt at a songfic. After reading song of the stories about Dasey I thought this song would fit.

Casey is sitting in her room trying to understand why everyone says it is wrong for her to love Derek. She gets frustrated and turn on the radio to try and stop thinking about it.

Casey thought that they just don't understand. If they knew how she felt they wouldn't keep saying that it's not right. But no matter what they said she wasn't going to change her mind.

She refused to listen to anyone. She was letting her heart guide her. Casey was so into her thought and the song that she didn't see or hear him come in. He stood there watching her, he smiled.

Derek was watching the girl he loved. He couldn't understand why everyone was against them loving each other. Other than the fact that her mom is married to his dad. They say you can't love your step-sister. But that's not true.

Casey turned around and saw Derek she smiled. She continued to sing the song. Derek walked over to her and they began to dance to the song. They can't help the fact that their parents decided to get married. It's not fair.

Casey and Derek were very much in love with each other. They only wished that everyone could see or feel what they feel for each other and maybe they wouldn't think it was wrong.
George and Nora were listening to Casey sing. They both agreed that they weren't going to stand in the way of true love.
