It is about 3 years after the war. Ginny convinced Harry to stop by the Dursleys. "Gin are you sure" Harry said. "Harry I want to meet them" Ginny said in a nagging voice. "Fine, but don't daily I didn't warn you." He said. He took Ginny's hand and apperated to the Dursleys house.
Ginny knocked on the door. Uncle Vernon came to the door. "Oh potter" he uttered. "Hello uncle Vernon." Harry said. "Hi I'm Ginny" she said. Vernon ignored them and signaled that they could come in. Harry and Ginny walked in.
Harry ten his hand along the small door under the cupboard. "So this is where you grew up" Ginny whispered to Harry. Harry could tell she meant the cupboard not the house. "Pretty much" he whispered back as they entered the kitchen and saw petunia. "Hello aunt petunia" he said. She nodded. Harry looked over to the living room and he saw Dudley sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Harry what's that?" Ginny asked. Uncle Vernon looked at Ginny like she was nuts. "That's a TV gin" Harry whispered to Ginny. "Ok" Ginny said kinda confused. "Hi Harry" Dudley said with a mouth full if chips. "Hi Dudley" Harry said. "Can we maybe sit down?" Ginny asked. "Sure" Petunia muttered.
Harry sat down on the couch in the living room. Ginny came over and sat on his lap. Harry laughed and whispers "you know this probably isn't the best time." "Fine" she said and sat down next to him.
Petunia and Vernon sat down across from them. "So" Vernon said "what are you doing here" "I really wanted to meet you guys" Ginny said eagerly. "So Harry" Dudley said "who's this" he looked at Ginny. "She's my girlfriend" Harry answered. After that it was quiet for a while.
"You haven't seen Harry in 4 years and you are this quiet" Ginny asked breaking the silence. "Ginny they probably don't care" Harry whispered to her. "Harry that's just mean to think they don't care" Ginny said a little louder that he wanted. Harry tugged on her sleeve to make her be quiet.
"Your nephew killed the worst evil wizard ever" Ginny said. "Harry Potter the murderer" uncle Vernon said. "He's not a murderer he's a hero" Ginny said. "He's the best wizard ever" Ginny smiled at Harry."he's everyone's hero"
"That's how you got a girlfriend" Vernon sneered "because of your fame" "not true!" Ginny said and stood up. "Ginny it's not worth it" Harry whispered and stood up next to Ginny.
"Harry they're offending you and your just gonna stand around and do nothing" Ginny asked "that's the way it was for 17 years of my life gin" Harry answered. "Come on let's just go"
Harry aperated back to the burrow. The Dursleys gave Ginny an evil eye as she apperated out. Harry is sitting in Ginny's room when she apperates in. "I told you so" Harry said with a smirk. "Fine fine you told me so" Ginny said as she walked over and sat on his lap. "Harry why do you just let them push you around like that" "that's been the way it's been for as long as I can remember I just try not to let it bother me." Harry replied. "We'll if bothers me" Ginny said. "I told you you didn't want to meet them" Harry reminded her. "Ya ya ya I get it." Ginny said and kissed him.
"But still Harry they have no right to do that" "gin it's fine" he said. "Come on now dinner should be ready soon" Ginny said getting off of him and pulling him up. "Ok" he said and walked downstairs"
