Max looks at the pod ship and then back at Michael, Isabel, and Tess. This is their chance to get home. This is their chance to see the place they belonged. "It's now or never Max." Tess said gesturing to the pod ship. "Max..." Isabel trailed off. *** Outside the cave*** "What do you think they are going to do?" Maria asked Liz and Alex. "I don't know," Liz answered. Twenty minutes pass by but to then it seemed much longer. Alex was sitting between Liz and Maria. They suddenly hear a noise behind them. They turn to the cave opening and see Max standing there. A second later Isabel shows herself. They all take in a deep breath. "So....?" Maria asked impatiently. "Well." Max said looking at Liz. "I have decided to stay. I could never leave you Liz. I have always known that." Max said taking Liz in his arms. "And you Isabel?" Alex asked. "I couldn't leave either." She said walking to Alex's side. "And Michael?" Maria asked with tears forming in her eyes. Just as she asked Michael popped out of the cave. "Someone says my name?" Michael asked smiling. "Michael!" Maria said running the short distance to him. She wrapped her arms around him. "Please tell me you're staying." Maria said into him chest. "Well." Michael said pulling away from Maria. Maria's face turned from happy to worry in a millisecond. "I'm staying." Michael said right before he kissed her. He hugged her tight and whispered in her ear, "I love you." Maria was shocked. Michael had never told her that before. She knew he loved her but this was the first time he spoke the words to her. "I love you too Michael." Maria said trying to get closer to him. "What about Tess?" Isabel asked. "She's gone." Michael said. Liz was so happy. Tess wasn't going to try to take Max from her any more. She looked up at Max, who was smiling down at her. He slowly leaded in to kiss her. "So now what?" Isabel asked looking at Max. "We live our lives with the people we love." Max said looking back at Liz. "I like that idea." Michael said pulling Maria in for another kiss. "AWWW!" Liz and Isabel cooed. ***Six months earlier***
