The Mystery of Vanadia Point - Part 1
Mirror McLaren, a 7th year, and her brother Vision, a 4th year, were venturing along
a little known beach in Britain called Vanadia Point. They and many other members of
Hogwarts had gone to Vanadia Point during the summer. They had 3 other brothers who were
also at Vanadia Point, but not at Hogwarts. They were Midnight, Darke, and Reactor, also
McLaren's. They had recently met Harry Potter and his friends, Ron, and Hermione, at Vanadia
Point.
Vision looked over at Mirror. "Mirror? Do you think the legend about Vanadia Point
is true?" Mirror looked at her little brother with a smile. "No, it can't be..." Harry looked
over to Mirror and Vision. "But...why don't we make sure about that?" Hermione looked worried.
"Really? But won't that be dangerous?" Ron laughed. "Hermione...you worry too much."
Reactor had tripped over a log, ripping a gash in his leg. "Damn..." he said, "That'll
hurt later on..." Midnight examined his leg. "You also broke your ankle." Darke was nowhere
to be seen.
Hermione clambered down a small mine shaft ahead of Harry, Ron, Mirror, and Vision.
Hermione screamed. "What happened?" Harry yelled. Hermione shouted back. "It's ok, I think
I only broke my wrist..." "Oh...great..." Ron said as they continued down the shaft.
Reactor, Midnight, and Darke were finally down the mine shaft that the other 5 were
currently clambering down. Darke examined a trunk. "It's locked with an extremely powerful
Locking Charm..." "Damn it...this is annoying." Midnight said. Reactor pushed Darke aside.
"Let me try," He said. Reactor shouted. "ALOHOMORA!" The trunk sprang open, revealing that
the trunk was actually a disguised Pensieve. Reactor looked at it oddly. "Who would hide
their thoughts HERE?" Darke wrung his hands. "Lord Voldemort."
