Prologue: Story of the Stained Glass Window

()

"It started out as a beautiful stained glass window; now it is shattered into many pieces. It can be repaired but it will take some time." A female said. Her voice was soft and very shaky. She moved closer to a fire that was burning brightly in the hearth.

A man coldly turned away and smirked. "Tell her more, I'm sure that the small one would like to here more of this story."

A young girl smiled at the man and the woman. She snuggled up to the woman. "Please, tell me more senpai!"

She nodded. "There was something missing from the glass. The shadows took it and the shadows replaced it with good faith. But the glass did not want the shadows; it wanted the light to stream through it and make it seem beautiful. The shadows left with best wishes for the glass, though it was torn apart.

"The glass approached the light and confided everything to it. But the light turned away. It rejected the glass because of what the glass was. The light was higher and mightier than the glass. It turned the glass and shattered it by doing so. The glass knew that it had been wrong the entire time; that it was being led on blindly. But it had enjoyed its time.

" 'It started out as a beautiful stained glass window; now it is shattered into many pieces. It can be repaired but it will take some time' those were the words said to the glass. The glass took life and by doing so started to slowly repair itself."

"That was a beautiful story, senpai!" The girl yawned and curled up in her lap.

She stroked her hair and looked up and the man's receding figure. "I am not so sure it was so beautiful for him…my dearest."
