The difference in agony.
A short story by Cha Lyll.
When Men's heart is broken, shattered into a million pieces, they feel a compulsion to destroy. To destroy everything on the outside, so that it will match the inside. They see what everyone else sees, and they feel it isn't right, so to make it right; to change it, they destroy and rip it apart to shreds. They don't see it, though however, they feel as if their world is broken.
When Women's hearts are broken, however, they don't need to match the outside with the inside. They have no need to destroy. Because, in their eyes, everything is already broken, everything is already shattered. They see the world as a mirror, the world reflecting what they feel. They see only what they want to see; feel only what they want to feel. To women, everything is the same, horrible mess that they feel they can't escape.
And that is how Men and Women see the world, different in their own way; thought both are considered as agony.
