The end of the time war.
Sometime just after The TARDIS family.
"Doctor, can I ask you a question." Luke asked the time lord.
Turning his head The Doctor frowned.
"Um. Yes? What?"
"Um, how did the time war end and what caused your 8th regeneration? Because The TARDIS database is locked for that data, something about bad memories or something."
"Um. Yeah, well," The Doctor started, reluctantly before the children's pleading eyes, "oh fine. TARDIS play video 19265342134678953690. The end of the time war. The very last day." The scanner lit up. Images of a golden sky a ground of crashed dalek saucers.
There were 2 beings standing in the time lord capital, rallison and his supervisor. On the screen they saw the current commander of the dalek hordes. They were both threatening each other when a dalek taskforce entered and took them to the battlegrounds of galifrey.
"We will do it daleks! DO! NOT! TEST! US!" yelled rallison.
"AS WILL WE RALLISON." The supreme dalek replied when a familiar wheezing sound was heard. A blue box materialised. A man stepped out. The 8th doctor wearing time lord basic soldier wear, the black leather suit the 9th doctor wore.
"Rallison! Supreme dalek! I am warning you! Back down now! Renegade time lords are running from the war like the universe is and here in my hand is a reconfigured moment. If you don't surrender now then I will use it!" he held up a pocket watch. No one backed down. The Doctor opened the watch and pressed a button an energy sphere shot up.
Angered the time lords and daleks opened fire on The Doctor and The TARDIS, landing several hits. The time machine shot through the vortex as the sphere filled the whole area of the time war. The sphere hit the base of the box and set it shooting through the vortex the walls and box started to glow white while The Doctor's hands and head started to get engulfed in golden flames. The white glow intensified as the regenerations completed. The Doctor looked around his control room, was given a schematic and grabbed his new sonic and ran out of The TARDIS, towards the big shop where The TARDIS had detected the renewed threat to earth.
"It never ends." Sighed the new doctor.
