Watching the stars

Lying on the grass, Mary-Lynette looked up at the star filled sky. Tonight was another beautiful clear night so Mary-Lynette was out on the hill, lying on the grass as she looked up at the sky. She leaned up on her arms and watched as her soulmate walked towards her. Ash had moved back after a year and now was living in his great aunt's house with his sisters.
Ash fell onto the grass next to Mary-Lynette. He held her hand in his. Over the last year and a half, Ash had done his best to make up for everything he had done, he had fought dragons for his lady just like any knight would. "It's beautiful tonight," Mary-Lynette whispered. Ash turned his head towards her and smiled.
"Maybe it is but it isn't as beautiful as you are," he told her smiling. Mary-Lynette looked at him as she blushed. Ash smiled, leaned over and placed his lips against hers. To Ash, Mary-Lynette was more beautiful than any star.
