There hadn't been a note. This confused Murdoc. Why hadn't Stuart left a note? He'd just died, leaving Murdoc behind.
Murdoc was mad. He hadn't thought about what 2D was going through, he just felt like the singer was being completely selfish by leaving. He didn't want to believe that he was gone, never coming back. Why would he? He'd almost proposed that day, then everything went to shit. 2D had shot himself in the head while everyone was gone.
Russel had returned to normal size, so he'd been slowly buying new clothes, and that was one of the days that he was out. Noodle was out on one of many failed dates and Murdoc was out, buying the best and most expensive ring he could find – anything for the love of his life.
Russel had been the first to return home, but didn't know anything had happened. He figured that either 2D had gone out or was asleep, so he left the bluenette alone. It wasn't until an hour later that he realized something was wrong. The drummer heard Stuart's phone constantly ringing every five minutes, only to realize that it was downstairs. That was when Murdoc ran inside, leaving the door open.
The bassist dialed a number and turned pale when he heard 2D's phone ringing from the kitchen, yet the singer wasn't there. He yelled for the bluenette, but there was no answer, so he ran upstairs. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, he almost began to vomit at the smell. The stench of blood, smoke and death. This made him collapse and begin to scream. He knew what had happened, and he didn't want to go any further, especially into either of the bedrooms it could have happened in.
oOo
