Annabeth's POV
"Percy" I said "Chiron told me I have to go back to Tartarus to retrieve the Hermes statue we saw there."
I sobbed at the sheer thought of having to return
"I don't get it it's just a statue " Percy said in tone that was almost worse than Hades.
"I already went to the oracle, but this wasn't like others. It says I need to take two children of death one being Nico son of Hades and Jasmine daughter of Thanatos." I said as I stopped to cry into Percy's shoulder
"Don't worry, Nico's a great guy and Jasmine is awesome and skilled with a spear." Percy said. "What did the oracle say Wise Girl?" he said in a sweet tone that almost reminded me of a male Hestia.
"One of three shall not return from a world involved with burn, is the first line and that bothered me. To death that one will face the test not that bad I mean, it's probably me anyway. Insanity shall take its toll on the two who forget to turn this worries me I don't want to go insane."
He interrupted "I love you even if your insane." he said kissing my check making me blush.
"The next line says if I fail the test camp will burn, Strawberry fields shall parish if you don't best the test of endless death." I said snuggling up to Percy's warm chest.
