NEW HEROES

"Wake up Alex it's time for breakfast. " my mother yelled up to me from the kitchen. I managed to get out of bed to take a shower, and eat breakfast.

My name is Alex Summers and I live in Tampa, Florida. It's my mom and me no father never have had one from what I remember. Well today unfortunately it's the first day of school I am finally in middle school.

"Hey honey are you all packed up for school? "she ask. I considered my mom very beautiful. She was tall with long brown hair that came to her shoulders and had the prettiest green eyes. But I am the other way I am tall but I have blonde hair and blue eyes with a yellow color in the middle near the pupil.

"Yes I did it all last night" I replied.

"Are you excited about your first day at a completely new school? "she questioned.

"Yes and no, yes because I school and can sometimes be fun and no because I won't know anyone" I said with a mouth full of eggs and bacon in my mouth.

"Well that's normal I guess. Well I think I hear the bus pulling up you might want to hurry" she said.

I grabbed my back packed fill with all of my supplies, kissed my mom good bye and I headed out the door and jumped onto the bus there weren't many kids on the bus but there was one kid who I saw that I knew we would be friends so I decided to go sit by him.

"Hi I am Alex Summers it's nice to meet you what your name? " I said in a cheerful tone.

"Hi yeah my name is Lewis Collins it's nice to meet you." He said with a smile on his face.

After an hour on the bus we finally reached school and on the way there Lewis and I talked a lot about our families and I found out he didn't have a mother just like I didn't have a father. I also found out we have homeroom and science class with him.

I was nervous all day so I really kept silent until fourth period when I was in the same class with Lewis and he sat right behind me.

"Lewis and Alex if I have to tell you one more time to be quiet while I am talking it's not going to be pretty trust me!" she said with an weird smile on her face.

Half way through class she called Lewis and I outside of the class "I am very disappointed with both of you I would have expected more from two demigods like you two!" she yelled at us.

"Demi-"that all Lewis could say before she busted out of her skin and outcome a female looking monster with flaming hair, a donkey leg and a metal leg with long sharp fangs.

"What is that! " and I said at the same time and then she lunged at me.
