Genis tried to stay strong trudging through what seemed like the same area of Latheon Gorge they had been in not five minutes ago. He didn't see why they had to rely on these fruit-loving wind flowers just to get to the storyteller. Why does he even live in such a hard place to get to? Couldn't they have theoretically used the Rheards to fly past this puzzle?

Genis felt his eyes closing, and shook his head to stay awake. This area...annoyed him so much...

"Genis. Are you all right?" Presea was looking at him with concerned eyes.

"Y-Yeah," Genis replied, "I'm fine, just sleepy..."

"That's understandable. We have been walking for a while. Here."

Before he knew it, Genis felt himself being lifted off the ground by Presea. "H-Hey, what!?" It was a little awkward to him, being carried by a girl who wasn't his sister.

"You said you were tired. You can fall asleep if you want."

Genis felt his face grow red, "P-Presea...you don't have to..."

Presea walked on, "I know." That was...kind of weird. Genis assumed that it was only because she felt it was a responsibility to take care of the youngest member of the group (whether he liked it or not, Genis knew everyone treated him like a kid) but if she knew it wasn't her responsibility then...

"Presea...is it that...you like me?"

"Yes." she responded. Was it Genis's imagination, or was her face a little red, too?

"I-I mean... not in the same way you'd like Colette or Noishe, but..."

"I know. I like you...in a different way than that. I think...this means 'love', correct?"

Genis smiled, "Yeah, you're right...Presea?"

"Hm?''

"I think I love you too."

"Aww~!" chorused the voices of everyone else.

"H-Hey, cut it out! All of you!"

Lloyd laughed. "Genis has a girlfriend."

"Lloyd, shut up!"
