Legolas had an inadvertent habit of making others swoon when they saw him, whether elf, human, dwarf, orc… […] …beast.
And when they awoke and saw him, they always swooned again.
His social life was nonexistent - except when he wore a box on his head.
What was worse was that nobody understood.
After many centuries alone, he suddenly met someone with the same problem. On waking from his standing swoon and finding the other standing shut-eyed before him on his box, he shut his own eyes and said eagerly: "We seem to have something in common."
