(A/N: Despite what my profile says, I'm writing a fanfic. Surprising yes? Yah, scares me alittle too xD)

Spring first...the first day of the rest of my life. Today's the day I begin my life on Castanet Island (A/N: is that what it's called?^_^"). It's sunny today, not a cloud in the sky. The wagon I was riding was bumping down a dirt road kicking up a sizable amount dust, not that it bothered me, I was happily dozing off in the sunshine...

"H-hey! Molly! Don't dose off, remember that we gotta go to the harvest goddess' spring as soon as you get settled! Are you listenin' ?!"

I nodded absentmindedly taking in the scenery we passed.

'Geez, Finn worries a lot for someone his size. Aren't sprites supposed to be carefree and fun? I wonder what Harmonica Town is like...now that I think about it Finn never really told me about it. I should've asked him before we left...'

Noticing I was awake, the man driving the wagon spoke up.

"So Missy, I don't believe I properly introduced myself, the name's Cain."

It took me a moment to realize he was speaking to me. "It's nice to meet you, my name's Molly."

He a gave a grunt to show he heard me" Say Molly, it'll be while before we get to Harmonica Town, do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions?"

I hesitated at first, I mean he's a full grown man...what could he possibly want to ask me?!

" Y-yeah, sure. I don't mind as long as they're not too personal."

He seemed to understand, giving another low grunt." Alright, well for starters why Harmonica Town?

Not to sound rude but your a pretty young lass, why would you want to settle in a small town like this one?"

His question seemed innocent enough. I looked down at Finn who had gotten comfy on my lap and was napping happily.

'Finn you hypocrite, you just finished telling me to not to dose off and now you're getting all comfy on my lap...heh heh, but you're still amazingly adorable.'

" Well, I'm not sure how to explain it, but all my life I was raised in big cities...honestly I'm sick and tired of a rush here, rush there life-style. Harmonica Town seems like the perfect place to escape the loud noises and ignorant people of the city...you know?" I finished with a wistful look on my face,

Cain seemed surprised by what I said.

"Wait, so you have no experience with farming at all?"

I shook my head from side to side."Well, these past couple of months I've been staying at my brother's farm. I helped him with planting, weeding, and harvesting so, no I'm not completely stupid when it comes to farming. But I must warn you, I'm a lost cause when it comes to animals."Cain seemed amused by this.

"Well, although I'm sure your not as bad with animals as you say you are, I'll be more than happy to give you some pointers if you'd like, or you can just ask my daughter Renee."

"Oh wow, really?! You don't know how much I'd appreciate that!"

'Cain, I could kiss you right now if I wasn't so sure you were double my age!,'

" No problem lassy, anything to help a fellow rancher...Oh, hey!Looks like we're here!"

"That's great! I'll just get my stuff together..." Not that I had much stuff, just a small suitcase with a few outfits packed, a rucksack and the necessary materials. I nudged Finn softly whispering that we had arrived.

"Wha...huh? Oh, we're here already? Man and I was having the best dream..."

I smiled at Finn.'Well, at least I know I'll have one friend in Harmonica Town, Finn what would I do without you,?'

(A/N: Well there's the first chapter, please tell me if I'm any good or not....bai bai!)
