"Where is it?!"
The frantic voice of the female brunette was heard throughout the lab, her voice surprisingly quiet as if she didn't want someone to hear her. However, she was alone in the large room, and the only thing that could be heard was her heels clicking against the marbled flooring and her random mumblings under her breath.
"I have to find it… I have to find it before he comes back…" She told herself quietly as she moved a few vials on a metallic desk, the glass making a soft creaking noise as it slid against the surface of the table.
The object she was looking for was her wedding ring. She had been wearing it when she came in with her husband, William, and it seemed to have disappeared off of her finger as time passed. She noticed it once he had left to get something to drink and now she was panicking. She had only been married to him for a month and she had already lost her ring!
"You fool…" She said to herself as she looked around at the room, glancing at the various desks and cabinets in the room.
She sighed, leaning on the table as she looked down at her hand, staring at the place where her ring should have been. She closed her eyes as she began to think about William and how he would act if she told him she had lost her ring. 'He would probably be devastated, but he would help you find it.' She thought to herself and a soft smile played on her lips. Her husband was a nice man- a bit obsessed with his work, and a bit hyperactive- but he was the most important thing in her life. She couldn't explain how happy she felt when he had proposed to her and she couldn't even count how many times she had repeated yes.
Pushing the thought to the side, she opened her eyes and she thought for a moment. She looked at the floor near the door and she let out a soft gasp as she noticed the object she had been looking for.
Without thought, she got onto her hands and knees, crawling under the desk towards it. She reached out once she was near it, but suddenly a pale hand reached down and grabbed it.
She realized who it was and she looked up at her husband, who bent down to his knees, a cup of coffee in one of his hands while her ring was in the other. She bit her lower lip as she smiled sheepishly at him.
"Looking for something?" He asked her, beginning to grin as he held up the ring. He sat his coffee down on the floor, taking her left hand and slowly sliding the ring on her finger. He held her hand up to his lips before kissing it, his lips grazing softly against her skin. He stopped as his lips hovered over her ring finger, "I love you, Annette."

A/N: Good lord. This was written during summer last year. I don't think this is all that great but I felt like uploading another story, so here you go... some William x Annette fluff-ness. We need more Will x Anne! D( They're canon, people. Canon.
