I am fire and air; my other elements

I give to baser life.

"I'll savor the wind one last time." Wind blew black hair as I fly towards its source. The miasma burns in my chest, an all consuming lava loosed in my heart. But oh, how glorious to have a heart! My fingers cling to my feather, willing it just a bit further.

"I can smell the wildflowers." I collapse upon them, my last bit of strength leaving my body. "I can't move." So... This is the freedom I so vainly sought.

And then, there he is. And he knew, knew it was me and not his enemy that he so relentlessly pursued (but how would I like to be pursued by him).

The fire finally burns itself out and as my spirit rises, winding its way around him, my final thoughts are "Ah... This is the freedom I wanted. And now, he is mine. Mine alone. We are united in death as we could never be in life."

The stroke of death is as a lover's pinch,

Which hurts and is desir'd.

A/N: Yeah... Back to Kagura. I miss her.... :'(

The quotes at the beginning and end are from the Shakespeare play Antony and Cleopatra, act 5, scene 2. I was assigned a monologue to memorize in school today, and yeah... I love it. And I used it. (Well obviously)

Not my favorite fan fiction... My last one was better. (Yay Jaypaw and his Stick!!)

Review please! Makes my day happier.
