1. I wasn't the smartest in my class.

Everyone always assumes that I was the smartest in my class. I wasn't. I was constantly competing with Lily Evans and Amos Diggory. I probably would have been at the same level with James and Sirius if I didn't study as much as possible.

2. My friends didn't know about my "furry little problem" until we were in our 3rd year.

I became close friends with James and Sirius and Peter in 1st year. I talked things over with Professor Dumbledore in 3rd year because I couldn't keep it a secret much longer. I knew that Sirius was starting to catch on. So I told them. Well, not really. I was in the hospital wing and they barged in and told me they knew. At least Sirius and James did. I had the feeling that they hadn't found the time to tell Peter.

3. I had a twin.

His name was Romulus. We were identical in all but one thing. He didn't have Lycanthropy. Well, one day we were down in the basement and we forgot that that night was the full moon. My parents were out, so no one could come tell him to come up. The door magically locked every evening so that I couldn't come out and hurt anybody. Well, I started to turn. I howled and scratched at my skin, trying to make myself stop. Romulus ran up the stairs and tried to get out. I turned. The next thing I remember is sitting at the foot of the stairs, holding my dead twin. I've named my owls Romulus after him because they were his favorite.

4. I was always closer to Sirius than anyone else.

Everyone thinks that I was closest to James, but Sirius understood me better. Peter was nowhere near my intellect. We were great friends, but Sirius was my best friend.

5. I was a pureblood.

My mother was a squib. Some would call that as being a muggle, but the rest of her family was pureblood, and my father was a pureblood, so I was a pureblood. Since Tonks was a half-blood, that means that Teddy is a pureblood.

6. I used to wonder if I joined the right side.

I know it's stupid, but I used to think, if I had just joined the Death Eaters, I would have never met Tonks. I f I had never met Tonks, I wouldn't have made her an outcast, and I wouldn't have put our son in danger of being a werewolf. I now know that I made the right choice.

7. I welcomed death.

I watched the woman I loved die. I watched many of my close friends die. I welcomed it. I would see James and Sirius and Tonks again. My friends who I left behind would mourn me, but I knew that I would see them again soon as well.

8. I wanted to name my son Teddy Romulus Tonks.

Nymphadora wouldn't stand for it though. I didn't want the son to be connected to me by name. Then it would be obvious exactly who he was. Tonks, on the other hand, thought that the boy would me proud of me. I hope he is.

9. Andromeda Black was my role model in school.

I know it's really weird, but she was the only Black that didn't hate my best friend. She was loyal and faithful to her beliefs. I was surprised to find out she wasn't in Hufflepuff.

10. I blame myself for Sirius' death.

I didn't stop him from leaving Grimould place. I could have stopped him. It's my fault he died.
