Sonic sighted bored as he rolled over in his bed. He heard Amy coming back up the stairs with what probably would be next bowl of soup he had eaten constantly the last few days. He caught a cold and Amy made sure he got good care, although the hedgehog had gotten rid of the illness this morning Amy would still force him to stay in bed for at least another week.

'Sonic?' Amy whispered soft through the door.

'Yea?' She opened the door, surprisingly holding no soup, but something rectangular and flat. She quietly sat on the bed, shifting her eyes to Sonic after a while. 'Whatta ya have there?' He asked curious. She handed him the object, it was a movie. Not a romance like you would expect from Amy, but a horror, thriller movie. 'Zombies V.S Vampires' named. Sonic raised his brow at Amy. 'I thought you didn't like these kind of movies?'

'I-I noticed how bored you were, so I got you a movie…' She blushed a bit. 'And because I heard it was a good one and I was planning on watching it anyway.'

'You like horror Ames? Didn't expect that from you.' He grinned

'Y-Yea, but I don't watch them alone, mostly with Tails or Knuckles, sometimes Shadow.' She giggled. 'Otherwise I get too scared.'

'Well if you're okay with it, turn of the lights and start the movie.' He made a bit of space so she was able to sit on the bed proper to watch a movie. Amy opened a closet and grabbed a thick blanket. She putted it on the now free spot and started the movie. She hesitated to put the lights off.

'Lights o-of?' Her voice trembled a bit.

'Yea, makes the movie even more exciting. Don't be scared Ames, I'll protect you from the zombies and vampires.' He winked at her.

'Okay.' She turned off the lights and crawled under the blanket. Sonic couldn't help but notice how cute and small she was under that thick blanket, only her eyes were not covered with it, ready to hide when it got too scary. He smiled at the sight and turned his face to watch the movie.

After a good half hour the movie started to get pretty scary, even Sonic had to admit that. When a zombie jumped in front of the screen suddenly, Amy yelped and clinged onto him. Out of instinct he wrapped his arms around her to make sure they didn't fall out of the bed.

'Calm Amy he's gone already.' She let go, but kept close to him. Sonic didn't mind really. Near the end of the movie Amy had settled herself on his lap sideways. So she still could see the movie, but was also able to hide her face in his chest from time to time. Sonic felt his face heat up every time she did so.

Sonic clicked the television off after 5 minutes of boring credits. 'Hey Am-' She was sleeping, Sonic smiled and laid down pulling the blanket on top of them. 'Night Ames.' He whispered placing a kiss on her head, before falling asleep himself.
