Holiday boredom cured by mindless, continuous, random drabbles. YAY, gotta love holidays.
Ok, I was just listening to some music and a random scene started appearing in my head, this is the result. It's probably crap because, well, I wrote this in like 10 minutes.
And again, like many of my other stories which I haven't put up, it's about when Buffy got kicked out in Empty Places (I think that's the right episode). I know it's weird that that's like the centre of all my fics, but I write fanfiction so I can try and fix stuff, you know, write what should have happened. And this is the ONE thing that I can never quell my anger at. I can write as many fanfics as I want about it and read as many as I want to, but I just can't get over how freaking horribly stupid it was that buffy just forgave them all. Grr, sorry, my rant is over. I really needed to get that out since my parents are kind of sick of me ranting about that for like hours until they just tell me to shut up. Yes, any way, on with the random drabble.

It's a sad picture
The final blow hits you
Somebody else get's
What you wanted again
You know it's all the same
Another time and place
Repeating history
And you're getting sick of it.
Buffy stood outside her house, well; I guess it wasn't her house anymore. She stood subtly near the window as the mass of young girls who had shunned her and kicked her out of her house looked up at Faith who had killed a human being, who had being in jail and had numerous issues. She would understand better if they had picked Giles, or even Willow. But Faith, she's an ex-enemy. Sure she's gone good side again, supposedly, but how could they just kick her out...and faith?!
She could understand the potentials choosing Faith over her. I mean, faith seemed like a friendly, laid back, not work-you-to-hard girl. Which she was, but that wasn't what they needed in a leader. But Giles, Xander, Willow, they had been with her as she stopped apocalypse after apocalypse after apocalypse. She saved their lives, she protected them alone from the age of 16 and she had protected the world since she was 15. Still, it didn't cut as deep as Dawn. The main thing wasn't that they were family; it wasn't even that she DIED for her, but that after Joyce died, Buffy lost her life. She worked in a normal job as well as slaying as well as dealing with being pulled out of heaven, and you think that would have at least earned her the right to stay in the same house, even if it wasn't in a leading capacity.
They kicked her out of her own house, her house, she was paying for everything, juggling two jobs, dying inside, while Willow and Dawn used her electricity, her phone, her water, her money, while contributing nothing.
And now, looking in at what she was missing out on, on everything she did for them, and what they did for her. She made her decision and turned around, leaving them to fight with Faith as their leader. Because that's what they wanted.
But when they needed her back, she would come. Because they were her world, she loved them.

Say we don't need this
But there's something in your eyes
Says we can beat this
