Spike, the last stance!
Spike sat doozing at his desk in Wolfram and Hart. He was dreaming about the final battle against the circle of the black thorne.
He wished the battle had gone differently than it had. Spike and team Angel had won the battle of course, but had lost the leader of the group.
Anegl had given up his life to save his brother, Spike.
Even though Angel hated spike they were still brothers, Spike missed that.
He remembered the battle went something like this...
"Angel there's too many!" Spike screamed over the sound of violence.
"Then just keep fighting!" Angel yelled back.
The team had been fighting now for two long hours, this was starting to show on the souled vampires.
However not on Illyria. She was a demoness, she could fight all night if she had to.
Angel froze at the sight before him, Angel never liked to see his loved ones hurting but getting killed off one by one was the icing on the cake.
He knew he had to do something but was lost.
I need a plan Angle thought. Then realising what he had picked up from his old office at Wolfram and Hart, Angel took it out of his pocket.
It was the amulet, Spike's amulet.
Without hesitation angel rushed over to Spike. He handed him the amulet without saying a word.
From that moment Spike knew what he had to do.
The souled vampire, after fighting the final battle between good and evil would become human.
The Shanshu prophecy.
Spike put on the amulet, expecting Angel to run and take cover from it's bright rays. Spike gave Angel a puzzled look.
"Angel run now!"
"Hey if i'm not mash potatoes Spike, I can handle things myself."
"But.. you'll die!" Spike said half screaming at Angel to get lost.
"Spike, we're brothers, and it's time for one of us to move on."
With those last words the beams of light hit Angel and he turned to dust.
Spike however, felt the beating of his own heart. Gunn gave him a puzzled look.
"My heart... it's beating." His hand still on his chest.
As Spike gazed around he knew the final battle had finished, he was alive, which is more than can be said for his friends.
The only survivors were him and Gunn.
What happend next you ask?
After the battle Spike went to Rome to follow the love of a good woman.
And when he found her he didn't let go this time but instead they got marrid and had three kids.
Now Spike is running Wolfram and Hart for the greater good,
Buffy well she's a PE teacher at a High school.
And the rest of the Scooby gang well, Willow has a new relationship with a old flame, Oz.
Faith and Robin got marrid and faith is now expecting twins.
Giles is the librerian at the school Buffy works, with a little helper Andrew, Dawn's new love.
And Xander is a builder again and has is own company.
So in the end everything worked out for the better, even if Spike did lose Angel he gained the love of the woman of his dreams and now has a family.
