Idiots in Love: A Jay and Lonnie Story
Jay's POV
"Being beaten by a girl are we Jay? You used to be the second best, after me of course in the Swords and Shields team and now even LONNIE can beat you." Chads voice sneered .Without missing a beat I replied
"Blowing your own trumpet aren't you Chad? You were never the best in any sport because I checked and you were not even captain in the Junior Leagues and gloating and boasting isn't going to change the past or present. You're jealous of Lonnie because she's captain and better than you and you don't think she should be on the team at all because of the fact she's a girl. So just stop."
Oh I hit a nerve or several. And now Chads about to hit ME. He tries to punch me and I ducked so he tries again but before he can a voice makes him stop.
"CHAD! Stop"
Lonnie. Of course. She strode over.
"Boys what's going on?"
Without letting me say a word Chad said his version. It involved me "provoking" him and him punching me in self-defence.
"Jay is this true?
"No "
"Well that happened then?"
So I told my version. The real one. Let's just say Lonnie was very annoyed to say the least.
"Chad you have a history of this so I am more inclined to believe Jay. Sorry."
Chad made a sound like a growling dog and stormed out mumbling under his breath.
"Thanks Lonnie. I don't think I could've kept my temper if you hadn't stepped in."
"Oh, that's okay you would've done the same for me."
"Anyway I got to go. See you later."
"Yeah"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I watched as she ran off. I should've said more but I didn't. Why? Because in an idiot in love. Yes I Jay Lamp (A/N I couldn't think of anything else) is in love with Li Lonnie. Sounds so weird saying it but it is true.
This is my first fanfic so don't expect to be good.
