Disclaimer: - I do not own Winx Club or the characters. I only own the plot

Authoress's Notes: - This has been inspired by the thirteenth episode of season 6. Eldora knew that Bloom and Selina both had magic potential but only told Selina and not Bloom. This had been bothering me for quite some time and eventually it became a plot bunny that refused to go away until I did something about it. So this is the result of curiosity.

They had defeated the Trix, locked the Legendarium and sent Selina to a reformatory home. So why wasn't she happy? Why couldn't she sleep at night in peace? The danger was finally gone and yet something kept bothering her, something important.

Two weeks later, she finally realized what had been bothering her. Eldora. Something that she had said when they had first visited her was bothering her and there was only one solution to her problem.

She decided that visiting Eldora was the only way she would get the answers to her questions. The next day she got up before dawn and headed towards the Forest of Flowers. Eldora had decided that she liked her old home a lot and moving elsewhere was out of the question.

As she approached her house, the door of the cottage flew wide open and Eldora came out, for the first time a serious expression on her face.

"Come in dear, come in. I was wondering when you would pay me a visit."

"You knew I would come?" asked Bloom.

She nodded and turned to go into her home. Bloom stood there for a minute before following her hesitantly.

Eldora asked Bloom to take a seat and then once she was seated on a comfortable red coloured sofa, sat down herself.

"Well then dear, what is bothering you?"

Bloom started haltingly "When we first visited you…..you said that you knew Selina and I both possessed magical potential. Yet you only told Selina and not me. I know that she needed extra guidance but why didn't you tell me?."

Eldora smiled slightly and said "You were too young dear."

"Once I was old enough you could have told me!"

She sighed and said "Bloom dear….."

"I need to know!"

"After…. What happened with Selina, I thought that it would be better if I didn't tell you. I didn't want another Selina on my hands. Besides it wasn't written in your story."

"My story?" she asked, slightly puzzled.

"I'm the fairy of stories dear. I know everyone's story including yours. When your sister Daphne came to me a long time ago, I told her the same thing. A person who has knowledge about another living being's fate is dangerous. A fairy who knew about other's life stories and how they would play out tried to seize control of the magic dimension once and a law was put into place when she was defeated. We were forbidden from interfering in the course of history and if the rule was broken we were executed immediately."

Bloom looked shocked and Eldora said "That's why I didn't tell you. Your story wasn't meant to be interfered with."

"Thank you Eldora. However I have another question, how did you know Daphne?"

She smiled and said "That's not my story to tell Bloom, it's Daphne's. "

Bloom left the cottage in daze and thought " So that's why she didn't tell me."
