It's cold. A shadow looked down over dozens of children on the playground. The air became grim, but nobody stopped laughing as they continued throwing snow at each other. Their fingers froze, some of them would wake up in the morning feeling feverish. Yet, nobody seemed to worry about those things. Why..? He couldn't understand those human's. The spirit of them was so incredibly strong, it didn't seem to matter to them that they had such a short time to live.
He never had to worry about something like that. Creatures like him didn't get sick, only if they were targeted with poison though. Yes, something like that would sting.. a lot. Last time that happened he truly grateful for his fast healing ability.
"Mom!" A child on the playground yelled with a hint of distress. "Hurry! "
He pushed his thoughts away and looked at the playground. A little boy with snow white hair run toward an old three behind the school building. It wasn't something that caught your eye, it just immerged in to the shadow's, a thing you normally wouldn't notice.
The boy seemed rather in a hurry when it picked up a branch, probably from the old three. Little hands hold the branch against the three. What was the boy thinking?
"Call a hospital.. Quick!" the words left with hurry and the boy was getting agitated at his mother for being so slow. The mother ruffled the boys white hair en gentle kissed his forehead.
"..Zero" the mom held back a chuckle and the kid looked lost for a second. "The three won't die because the branch fell off" The boy let down his shoulder en lost his firm grip on the branch.
"You sure..?" whispered the boy softly, while blue eyes roamed the face of his mother seeking for any thoughts left unspoken. The woman nodded and said "Unlike we, they can grow new branches and live on like nothing happened." The boy looked over at the three, not sure to believe what was told.
All the while a boy behind the curtains continued to watch, holding back his breath to make sure he wouldn't disturb anyone whit his laughter. He couldn't understand them, but whenever he saw them they would do something to him. They disturbed his logic way of thinking.. in a rather refreshing and lovely way.. not that he would at mid that.. never.
