A drabble on Sam waking up one night and watching Jess sleep. R&R

Set: The first night that Sam and Jess shared together in their apartment.

Sam rolled over and saw her. Her blonde hair was curly and over her face. Her lips were slightly open. Sam wondered what she was dreaming about. Her chest rose and fall as she breathed. Even in the dark she looked beautiful, kinda like an angel. Sam wanted to protect her from everything...but he knew he couldn't tell her. Jess rolled to her side, her small Care Bears t-shirt tucked up a little revealing some of her flat stomach. Jess moaned in her sleep and moved her arm a little. Her knee nudged the air. Jess was a restless sleeper from what Sam could see. She looked so peaceful. Sam moved her blonde hair out of her face, brushing her hair away. Sam wished he could watch her sleep forever. But he knew he couldn't. Sam moved closer, smelling her breath and stoking her hair softly.
Author's Notes: I've always been a fan of Sam and Jess together; they made such a cute couple. I know it's short but it is drabble. I can image Jess beginning a restless sleeper, as in the pilot she moves her arms a bit just before Sam wakes up. Also I gave her a Care Bears t-shirt because anyone who likes the Smurfs likes the Care Bears.
