I Wanna Be More Than Friends
I was doing my homework but then I heard a ding dong.
It was the doorbell, and I decided to get it because my stepmother was making dinner.
I opened the door and saw a gigantic bouquet of red roses being held by somebody whose face I couldn't see.
The person finally revealed himself and it was Percy.
Percy freaking Jackson.
"What are you doing here, Percy?"
"I am here to court you Annabeth," he said and handed me the flowers.
"Uh, why?"
"Because, I wanna be more than friends." Percy said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Somebody went to my side. Phew, it was my dad.
"Oh, Percy what are you doing here?" my dad said while smiling.
"Oh, Mr. Chase I'm here to court your daughter." Percy said.
"Ah," my dad said, and he actually looked like he was expecting this.
"Dad, can you please tell Percy that he cannot court me," I said to him seriously.
"Percy you can't court my daughter," YES. "Well, unless you're serious. Percy, are you serious?" What no no no no...
"I really am serious Mr. Chase" Percy said.
"Well then, go ahead." My dad said and he winked. He freaking winked.
"So, Annabeth. Would you date me now?"
"Uh, Percy seriously?" I said.
"Yes Annabeth, I am serious. Why is nobody taking me seriously these days. Don't deny it Annabeth. I love you, I can't see why you can't love me too. I see it, Annabeth. Do you love me?"
I looked down. "I do,"
"Don't take that back anymore." He said and embraced me. And just like that he kissed me. He kissed me by the door. And my whole family was watching. And they were actually happy for me.
