Revenge isn't the answer
I looked at the person before me wind blowing through my hair. He looked at me with his sharingans. "I'm going to kill you! And take revenge for all those innocent people you killed!" I spat out. He started to laugh "you are going to take revenge? Weren't you the one who said revenge wasn't the answer that it would only bring more pain?" I bit my lower lip. "My revenge is different from yours, mine will bring happiness and peace. The shinobi world will finally be freed from Sasuke Uchiha" "I killed Orochimaru, Deidara and Itachi and what did you do?" "I killed Sasori of the red sand, I cured poisons nobody else could. Discovered the perfect transformation of the Zetsus and I'm now one of the great hero's from the 4th war." I said placing my hands on my hips. I was proud of what I had achieved.
I charged toward Sasuke with chakra in my fist. My fist connected with his jaw and sent him flying through trees. I walked toward him. He got up wiping the blood from his mouth. "Is that the best you can do?" I tried to kick him in the stomach but he blocked my attack. After a few hours of fighting we were both heavily panting. I reached in my bag on my back and pulled out a soldier pill. If I took one I would have just enough chakra for one punch what should be enough to kill him but I wouldn't survive the after effects. I started to bring it to my mouth. "You know you won't survive the effect." Sasuke said limping toward me. "I know that but if that means I can defeat you than I will take that risk"
"don't!" Sasuke shouted when I placed it in my mouth. "Don't swallow it, please" I looked at him in shock. When he stopped right in front of me I took the pill out of my mouth. "Sakura, you can't sacrifice yourself for revenge." I snorted "says the one who is obsessed with revenge." "I was indeed obsessed with it. I was prepared to sacrifice myself. But I changed. You taught me that revenge isn't the answer and you were right. I only gained more sadness inside my heart. Sakura don't go down the same path I did." I could see in his eyes that he was being honest.
I let the pill drop to the ground. A small smile appeared on his face. Yes indeed a smile, Sasuke Uchiha smiled and it was the most beautiful I ever saw. It reminded me why I fell in love with him. I touched his cheek. "Am I dead?" I asked. Sasuke looked confused at me. "No what makes you think you are?" he asked confused. "You're smiling and I can touch you." "I'm smiling because I saved the girl of my dreams from sacrificing herself for revenge." I gasped. "I-I-I'm the girl of your dreams?" "Yes and it took me way too long to realize it but Sakura I regret everything I did, all those innocent people I killed, hurting you. I was too blind to see that I had someone waiting for me and when you told me earlier you wanted to kill me, I accepted that because you had the right to kill me." I hugged him tight scared to lose him again. "I love you Sasuke and I forgive you." He lifted my hand and placed his lips on mine. "I love you too" he said sweetly when we separated from the kiss.
