Kat examined the rose from far away. Today was her and Coop's three week anniversary. She had wanted it to be special. She got her turkey out of the oven and placed it on the table in a fashionable manner. Kat scattered rose petals all around the table. She then lit some candles, and dimmed the lights. Just as she was putting on some romantic music, Coop came strolling up through the doorway. He couldn't help but smile. "Kat, this dinner, it looks great, and all I did was write you a poem!" he said. Coop pulled a sheet of paper out of his backpack, and handed it to Kat.
When I first saw you,
I hated you a lot
Then I had a dream
I guess everything is not
What it appears to seem.
Kat grinned at her boyfriend, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Coop glanced at the dinner Kat had prepared, and shook his head. "Come on, a dumb poem means nothing to a dinner like this!" he said. "Hey, that's my boyfriend you're talking about!" Kat joked. Coop grinned again. They sat down to the nice dinner Kat had prepared. They started eating, but didn't eat much. They were just so busy, staring into each other's eyes. At one point, when Coop was mesmerized by Kat's deep, dark eyes, he said, "I love you" Kat smiled when Coop said it. "I love you too" she said.
